Nope! the Yda in 1.0 was always Lyse as well. Yda herself literally never showed up ever in the entire story.

OK yeah that's just a wierd scene then. Don't get the point. Why not just reveal she was using a fake name or something, her having a sister that used to be a scion could obviously be important later in Stormblood, but as the huge end of expansion stinger it falls completely flat.

As of Heavensward, Alphinaud was my favorite character. Gets a lot of development and teally feels like the heart of the Scions.

I will not disagree with Alphinaud being a great character, it's just an issue of hom MUCH I care about his archetype. As far as his purpose as a character goes, he's one of the best in the game.

Alphinaud would still be my favorite character if Alisaie hadn't of come back!

The scions would fall apart without a kickass recepionist. Tataru is the best.

Stormblood is where they start making the trial fights more cinematic. They're pretty cool.
I mean I guess technically the 3rd tier of Alexander is when they really started it but in so far as the MSQ fights go, its Stormblood.

I would say the shift towards Trials being more cinematic started the moment Shiva clicked her heels. Been good times ever since then.

Now, as I head into 4.0...I mean, I have Persona 5 Strikers installed, a game I have been waiting for for over a year, and I have no interest in touching it until I at least catch up on MSQ. That should say it all.

I've had a similar problem. I got P5S on early access, but so far I've only put 16 hours into it due to wanting to work on my relics in FFXIV >>

I need to try and get some more FATEs done in the Shadowbringers zones. The orchestrations aren't farming themselves.

Also completed the 15 DRs for the relic. If I wanted another onr I might just try Palace of the Dead with a new job.

i could probably be talked into going down to floor 200 at some point, I did a run that went to like 170ish when i was still in the HW story and then just never went back to it. such a huge timesink

I still need my potd 200 clear. I've gotten my four hoh clears for the horse mount but I've never gone all the way with Palace of the Dead.

I've never gone past 100 in PotD because it's kind of a pain. Do you guys typically do it solo or run with a premade?

HoH I don't even think I've completed the normal mode story lol (30 floors? idk)

Solo is incredibly, incredibly difficult. You need to do everything flawlessly AND have a lot of luck in regards to pomander drops. If you want the clear you wanna go with a group.

I've cleared HoH a few times, but I've never been past floor 100 of PotD.

Stormblood thoughts so far.

Cutscene and actual story stuff is enticing.

When they did dump the fetch quests on you they do it in huge chunks. Don't know if that's preferable.

BOY these area maps are not great. I feel like they just have gotten good feedback on fewer, larger maps in Heavsward, and then took it too far? So much huge, empty space.

I got to Floor 114 (I think? It was definitely in 111-119) as RDM before I Ver-yeeted myself into a land mine at the wrong time. That one hurt.

I have a GNB solo run at Floor 101 now but I just don't feel ready to take that plunge again.

There's one map that isn't mostly empty space but don't worry they compensate by splitting the map in half, making it obnoxious to navigate, and eventually connecting the two halves with some empty space.

I like the Stormblood maps so far. Much easier to navigate than the Heavensward maps and I like the visual design. I dont mind the empty space that much because you move so quickly its not too bad.

Went through the Vault the other day. We had some wipe issues but eventually muddled through. And then that cutscene after happened...bastards.
