I never really paid much attention but been making more transactions when stuff dips lately and whenever I place an order for lets say $10, it shows I got ~$9.95 worth but Im pretty sure my funds went down by the full $10. I know it executes at up to 1% change in price but Id think theyd execute based on $ value entered not amount of crypto. --- If you don't want to argue about something, take the initiative and stfu. Bought one stock of Microsoft, some Facebook, some Airbus and then some tourism shit that I think will rebound as Corona gets better. Im in it more for the long run and just dont want inflation to fuck the money thats just layin in the bank. Having said that, I went to reddit and checked out wsb just to see what the hype was about. Bought some SNDL for the hell of it to see what happens and of course it fucked me. Only spent 60 thought so not really a big deal. Gonna keep it to see what happens. First and last time doing that. Other times the results might not be so great, and the stock will go up. There are even times, if the company is announcing after hours, the stock will climb 10% after the closing bell and before the earnings call starts, then drop once the call starts. If most expect a company to do well on the next earnings, buy a week or 2 before and the stock could have a nice run up into earnings. Sell right before the earnings release. A recent example of this is DIS. I expected that there might be a run up to earnings based on the past performance and Disney+ numbers rapidly growing, so I bought during the dip 2 weeks ago at $162 and the stock ran up into earnings to ~$190. Also, sometimes it is better to wait until after earnings comes out and see where the stock is heading before getting in. You probably won't make as much, but it usually a safer play.
