The argument has been proposed by other posters that because he is dying, whatever trauma he suffers from having NON-CONSENSUAL sex is so temporary that we can ignore it.

So the question I put forth is why trauma via torture would be any different?
And before you answer "because he asked for it" again, the whole point of minors cannot consent means they don't understand how it will effect themselves mentally.
And that said trauma taking years to develop is also a weird take some users have made.

So you think age of consent should be after puberty starts then.

The average age for girls to begin puberty is 11, while for boys the average age is 12. But it's different for everyone, so don't worry if your child reaches puberty before or after their friends. It's completely normal for puberty to begin at any point from the ages of 8 to 14. The process can take up to 4 years.

Then me asking why 12 makes a difference to you is an even more important question seeing your weird view on age of consent here.

I'm okay with the kid wanting it and even doing it. I'm not okay with the prostitute doing it, nor with the other adults involved who facilitated it. Of course a horny 15 year old (regardless of gender) wants sex of some sort. The reason we say adults can't oblige is the imbalance of power, the potential for manipulation, coercion, the longterm psychological impacts of a child having a relationship with an adult, and so on. In this case many of those things may not have applied. That might be the case in other situations too. The problem is that the vast majority of the time these things do apply and the child/younger participant isn't equipped to fully grasp what they are consenting to. That's why minors can't consent.

In saying all that, I'm not outraged that this happened either. It should be investigated at the very least. I lean towards giving the doctor the benefit of the doubt that she/he had the 15 year old's best interest in mind. Of course that could be wrong and the intentions were malicious, hence the investigation. And for the record, the gender of the 15 year old wouldn't impact my feelings on this. 15 year old girls have urges too, they just don't tend to process or express them the same way for a ton of reasons that are beyond the scope of this topic. I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if a 15 year old girl wanted to have sex before she died, though.

I think some of you are just butthurt that a 15 year old got his virginity taken while some of you still in your mid to late 20s waiting for yours to be taken, and probably never will.

This is a different case, dude asked for 1 wish before he died to get his virginity taken.

I don't see an issue in that.

I lost my virginity at 12 to a 17 year old. Loved it. Moved on with my life, now 35 married (different woman) with 2 kids I love dearly.

I'm not scarred, at all. I knew what I was doing at that age.

Some people won't know, that's why there's laws for those people.
