A bikini. Because it's not made from her leotards, this is still all black. Raven, Arella and the twins change, grab some towels, and then Raven knocks on the connecting door.

"We're ready," Raven says.

"Alright," you respond. "Will see you in the hall."

With keys in hand, you grab a towel and sling that on your shoulder before walking outside. Raven and the others exit at the same time.

"You two wearing two pieces?" you ask your sisters.

"It's fine," Roselind says. "We're getting older now."

"We can wear these now," Rebecca says.

"You can, but are you allowed to? I can't be sure Mother approved of these."

"Oh?" Raven says. "I didn't hear any of that while we were in there."

"Umm..." both twins say as they look in different directions.

"Well, we'll just worry about it when your mother sees you," Arella says. "Let's just get to the pool so you're not standing out in the open."

Arella ushers yours sisters along while you walk with Raven.

"Speaking of out in the open," Raven mumbles to herself.

She wraps the towel around her waist to keep her cheeks covered.

"Oh, those weren't so bad," you whisper to her.

She smirks back at you but doesn't say anything.

The five of you find your way to the pool area, which is on the west side of the lodge, and walk down a short staircase. There is a reasonably sized pool of an oblong shape, with simply a shallow end and then steps down into a deep end, and a hot tub off to the side, just around the corner from the steps.

You take a quick look at the hot tub and see there is a sign that asks guests not stay in the hot tub for more than 15 minutes, when conditions are crowded. Though looking at it now, for all the other guests you've seen at the lodge, there isn't anyone else here in the pool area right now, so the time restriction isn't a concern.

"Hmm," you say. "How about this? We start in the hot tub to warm up, pun not intended, and then maybe after some time, we switch over to the pool."

"Okay," Raven says.

She takes the towel off and sets it on a nearby chair. You put your towel there, as do your sisters and Arella. You follow Raven as you step down into the water, and the two of you carefully sit down. It isn't too deep of a hot tub for it being flush with the ground. The water comes up to your ribs, but you mostly enjoy the gentle warmth of it, and Raven being close to you on your right.

Your sisters and Arella join you in the hot tub, sitting across from you. They are again on either side of her, and seem to like being very close to her.

"So when we go on our little hike," Raven asks, "are we going north or south?"

"Hmm... Well, north is uphill, south is downhill," you say.

"We'll go North," you say. "Obviously, going uphill is more work, but then as we're making our way back, we'll be going downhill so it'll be much easier."

"Good point," Raven says. "If we went downhill first, then we'd have to return going uphill, and we'd be tiring ourselves out."

"That was my thinking, more or less," you say.

After soaking in the hot tub for about another 10 minutes, you stand up and Raven follows you to the main pool. You help her step down into the pool while Arella walks over with your sisters, all hand in hand. In a way, they're eagerly pulling her along as they go down the steps with you and Raven.

You swim to the deep end, which is only 6 feet, and gently float for a second before swimming back towards the middle section that's 4 feet deep. Raven also swims around, then simply floats on her back. You do your best not to stare as Raven's bosom floats by, so you just float on your back now, going alongside her. The two of you quietly look up at the sky as a single cloud goes by.

Your parents and grandparents finally arrive, and they decide to go right into the pool.

"Girls, give Ms. Arella some space," your mother scolds.

"No, it's fine," Arella says. "We're all just floating, relaxing."

The twins still float a few inches away from Arella while your mother and grandmother step down into the pool. Your father and grandfather sit on the edge of the pool, dipping their feet and legs in the water.

"So what're the plans for after the pool?" Sixth asks.

"We're going on a hike if you want to join us," you say.

"No, no," grandmother says. "Sixth, you're helping us set things up for Rory's birthday."

Sixth grumbles and you chuckle, as does Raven.

"Rory, what do you want for dinner?" your mother asks. "Maybe we can have it catered to the little party we have."

"I'm not sure," you say. "I wonder what there is even available..."

"There are quite a few restaurants we haven't tried," your mother says. "We could ask around to see if they'll do take-out."

"Y'know what," you say, "try..."

"Mt. Hood Brewing Co, Portland," you say. "That's the one that's got the train car extension."

"There's two Mt. Hood Brewing Companies?" your mother asks.

"Yes, the other is 'Govy,' for Government Camp on Mount Hood. But last night, the three of us went for a walk, as I was hoping the fresh air would sober father and Sixth up. That didn't work, as you know, but we smelled wonderful pizza and a few other things coming from Mt. Hood Brewing Co, Portland. We can order a few pizzas as takeout, bring them to the Raven's Nest, and that's our dinner."

"Alright," your mother says. "We'll look into that while you all are on your hike."

"Thank you," you say.

After about another 15 minutes or so, your group leaves the pool to go back to your rooms.

"Hey, can I use your shower to rinse off?" Raven asks you. "It'll save time."

"Of course," you say as you open the door to your room.

Raven walks into your room, 2M, while your sisters and Arella go back to 2N.

"In fact..." you say as you follow Raven inside. "How about we both rinse off? You know, to save time."

"Rorek," she giggles. "No, we need to behave!"

"I can behave," you say. "It'll just be the two of us scrubbing each other down-"

Raven hushes you with a finger gently to your lips.

"Behave," she says with a smile.

"Fine..." you sigh.

"Thank you," Raven says as she turns and walks to the bathroom.

You patiently wait while Raven rinses off, and the minutes seem to drag on. You know it's just Raven in her swimsuit with the water washing over her, but damn if you don't want to be in there with her.

Uh-oh, activity is happening down below. You hold off thinking about dripping wet Raven, her hair slicked back, her hands making sure to- NO STOP. Behave!

You use television to distract yourself for a moment, and see that weather will be nice for tomorrow, too. That'll be nice, it'll be smooth sailing for helping your parents return the rented car and seeing the family off for their trip home.

Raven finally finishes rinsing off and walks out, dripping wet, just casually using the towel to dry her hair. She sits down on the bed to start drying her legs, but notices you watching her.

"Aren't you going to go rinse?" Raven asks.

"Yes, I know," you say as you slowly get up. "I am. I just... You tell me behave and then tease me like this, that's not fair."

"Well sorry," Raven chuckles.

You hurry into the bathroom, rinse off as fast as you can, and hurry back out. But even so, Raven is still heading back to her room through the connecting door.

"See you in a few moments," Raven says.

"Yes," you say with a sigh, "see you in a moment."

You get dressed, making sure to go with some strong shorts and a tank top. You also make sure to bring out hiking boots from your knapsack's MagiPocket. It's been awhile since you've needed these shoes, they're still not fully broken in.

You go out to the hall and regroup with Raven and the ladies. They all have nice denim shorts, Roselind in a white tee with black polka dots, and Rebecca is in the black tee with the white polka dots. Raven and Arella are both in black tank tops so they're almost identical. The five of you head out from the hotel and find a few options for your trails going north.

You lead the way on the Pacific Crest Trail, and this first part is all open, with only a few trees here and there. The trail takes you slightly Northwest, and the tree coverage does get a bit denser, but not by much. After all, the mountain's also meant to have skiing, so there can't be trees getting in the way of those ski paths.

You get past the ski paths and into much denser tree lines. Oddly enough, this path doesn't go quite as uphill, but you do find it approaches a dip called "Little Zig Zag Canyon." It is definitely a little canyon, to where it is more like a dry creek bed.

"What do we do now?" Roselind asks.

"Turn back?" Rebecca offers. "Maybe we turn back now."

"No, no, this isn't that bad," you say. "C'mon."

Your sisters grumble as the five of you follow the Zig Zag Canyon up to a more shallow part. The trees thin away again, and the warmth of the sun is countered by the chilly breeze that blows by. Everyone has a shiver, and you all share a chuckle.

"Careful now," Arella says as you start crossing the tiny canyon.

The mountain isn't too steep at this point, but falling and tumbling on a mountain is never good, so you do use caution. You make it over to the other side, and then watch as your sisters go next. They hold hands so that they can keep each other standing, or take the other with them. That probably explains why they're going a little slow here. Either way, they're united twins until the end.

Your sisters make it over safely and then Raven and Arella go next. They're just fine, and cross much quicker than the twins. From here, you continue back to the tree line, and find it gets much denser from here on.

You continue on and start hearing something. Water rushing and crashing.

"I think there's a waterfall nearby," Raven says.

"That's what I was thinking," you say.

"Hmm... It sounds like it's coming from further north. Let's go have a look."

You lead the way, going uphill and then a little downhill as the terrain allows. The trail has quite a zigzag, and you realize why the canyon was called that. You go back uphill and come across a river. And of course, from further up the river is a waterfall.

"Not a big waterfall," Raven says as you five head upstream. "But I suppose not, since I've never heard of the famous waterfall on Mt. Hood."

"It still looks a couple stories tall," you say as you get closer.

"We should take pictures!" Roselind says.

"Of the waterfall?" Rebecca says.

"Well, yes, but more for Rory and Raven," Roselind says. "They can stand in front of it and have an engagement photo."

"Oh, that sounds so lovely!" Rebecca says.

"I agree," Arella says. "You two should take a few pictures in front of the waterfall."

"That does sound nice," you say.

You offer your hand and Raven takes it. The two of you can walk up a bit further, and you find a spot between where the water falls and where the river continues. You look over your shoulder, then down at your feet and carefully step to your right.

"How's this?" you ask.

Rebecca looks through the camera of her phone.

"A little more," she says as she and Roselind motion you to your right.

You and Raven take another small step over.

"Yeah, that's good," Roselind says.

"How should we pose?" Raven asks.

"You should hold onto Rory around the shoulders," Roselind suggests. "He can have an arm around your waist."

"Right," you say as you wrap an arm around Raven.

Raven wraps her arms around you, you two get in close, and you both look each other in the eye.

"Yeah, hold that!" Rebecca says. "And... Okay, got that one. Look at the camera this time."

You both look over at Rebecca and you see her pressing the button a couple times.

"How about a kiss?" Roselind says.

"Oh, yes, some kissing," Rebecca says. "This is for your engagement, you should be happy and feeling romantic."

"I'm not sure I like my sisters telling me to kiss someone," you say. "But that is a valid point."

Raven giggles, and the two of you look at each other again. You move in closer and lock lips.

"Okay, hold that...!" Rebecca says. "Okay, got it! That's good. Rory, stop kissing!"

You and Raven stop, and you smirk.

"You two suggested we kiss, so it's not our fault," you say to them.

"Yeah!" Raven says with a laugh.

"Oh, hold that pose!" Rebecca says as she brings the phone back up.

"What? With my head back like this?" Raven says, head still tilted back to her left.

"Yes!" Rebecca says. "We'll catch you two having a nice smile and laugh!"

"Faking a laugh seems as odd as forcing a kiss," Raven says.

"C'mon, just do it!" Roselind says.

"Okay...!"

You smile and Raven does her best to laugh again, and Rebecca takes the picture.

"Yes, these are good," Roselind says as the two check it together.

"Would hope so," Raven says as she stands up straight again. "I was starting to get a head rush there."

"Group photo now!" Rebecca says.

"You, too, Ms. Arella," Roselind says as she takes Arella's hand.

Rebecca positions the phone in the air with levitation magic while Roselind leads Arella over to you and Raven. They carefully join you and Raven, with a twin on either side and Arella just behind you. You all move in closer, and Rebecca remotely has the camera click to take pictures.

"Okay, we'll switch now," Roselind says as she and Rebecca switch sides.

Rebecca again has the camera click.

"Now, let's have Rory in the middle so that he has ladies on either side," Rebecca says; then with a chuckle, "Some people might think he's got two girlfriends!"

The twins giggle but you blush a bit. You're pretty sure Raven and Arella blush, too. But still, you and Arella switch places and with your arms caught behind everyone, it does seem to suggestive.

"Alright," Rebecca says after clicking the camera for those pictures. "Let's head back."

"Yes, perhaps this is the right time for that," you say. "For one, we need lunch. We'll wash up and go to..."

"The Wy'East Caf. We'll mix it up since we've already gone to the Cascade Dining Room a few times, and we'll be using Mt. Hood Brewing for dinner."

You and Raven follow behind Arella and the twins as you start to retrace your way back. Everyone is again careful with the "Little Zig Zag Canyon," but the twins have a bit more confidence this second time.

You return to the hotel, and return to your rooms. You really only need to wash hands and face before switching from hiking clothes to more casual clothes. From there, you exit the lodge and walk across the street to the caf.

The caf is a rather big building, really, and there is a "Grab and Go" section, which you would think is the takeout. There is a seating area just around the corner, and a section that acts as lockers for skiers. You of course go to the seating area and find a table for four, and simply borrow a chair from the nearby table. You are gentlemanly enough to sit in the extra chair so that the ladies all get to sit at the table properly. Of course, this means there's only four menus, not five, so you share a menu with Raven.

You see there is a section for pizza and pasta, but you skip that since you'll be having pizza for dinner. Instead, you choose from...

Well fresh soup sounds alright but you'll go with something a bit more filling. You like the idea of the Darn Good Cheeseburger, because it does sound very good.

Moments pass, but you realize there are no waiters.

"Oh, this is more like a fast food restaurant than a diner," you say. "Well, in that case, I guess we all need to go up to the counter."

"I wish we knew that before walking in," Rebecca says.

You look over and see the counter is divided into the sections, and so you and Raven are in front of the Griddle while your sisters and Arella go to the Fry Bar. You and Raven both order the Darn Good Burger while Arella orders chicken strips and your sisters each order a corn dog. The items are rather pricy here, but your sisters have money to pay for their and Arella's orders.

You five go back to your table, but another group that came in took back the chair you borrowed. So now, you borrow a chair from a different open table and have to sit on the opposite side of where you were before. Raven, Arella and the twins switch up seats, too, to mirror where they were before.

You take your first bite into the fairly good looking Darn Good Burger, and it certainly is a good burger. You aren't sure if it's "darn good," but for this little restaurant here on Mt. Hood, it's not bad.

Your sisters get a text and they both check it.

"Oh, it's just Mum," Rebecca says.

"She wants us to know that the Raven's Nest room is really nice," Roselind says. "A lot more room than just for us."

"Well, I suppose so," you say. "Nine people isn't that much when we have the entire venue to ourselves..."

"Should we invite more people?" Raven asks.

"Sure," you say. "We can call the Titans from California. And aren't the Titans North nearby? Jinx, Argent and the others?"

Raven grumbles.

"What? Is it because I mentioned Jinx?"

Raven grumbles and takes a bite of her burger.

"Well I think we should invite them anyway," you say. "We'll all be together come time for the wedding, this will be good practice.

"It is your birthday," Raven says. "Invite whoever you want."

"I'll call them after we finish eating," you say. "For all we know, they might all be too busy."

You five continue your meals, and you do find the Wy'East Cafe's fries are very good. They're crisp and well salted, a good thickness, and not too many of those limp, noodly ones.

From what you can tell, your sisters seem to enjoy the corn dogs, and the chicken strips look crisp and fully cooked so Arella is enjoying those, too.

When you finish your meals, you put the wrappers and little fry boxes in the trash, set trays on a special station, and then return to the hotel. You bring out your Titan communicator and have it reach out to Robin first.

"Oh, hey, Rorek!" Robin says. "What's going on?"

"Hey, there," you say. "Raven and I are in Oregon now, at Mt. Hood, and my family flew in for an early birthday party. But we figured, we should invite you all along, too. Assuming you're not too busy right now."

"No, we've been a bit bored, actually. We'll be on our way."

"Alright," you say, "we'll be at the Timberline Lodge. Call ahead and we'll meet you outside."

"Cool! See you then."

Robin hangs up and you call Jinx.

"Oh, hello there," she says with a sassy smile. "What're you doing calling me?"

"Don't make anything out of it," Raven says as she leans into view. "We're just inviting you and the Titans North to Rorek's birthday party."

"Oh," Jinx says flatly. "Well, I guess that's still nice. I'll let the others know. Where are you having it?"

"We're at Mt. Hood's Timberline Lodge," you say.

"Really? The place that like, inspired part of The Shining or something?"

"Yes, that place," Raven says.

"Okay, we'll be there," Jinx says. "See you soon!"

Jinx hangs up and you put your communicator away.
