"It's not... that often," Raven says. "I think it'd been some time since last time."

"And what is 'some' time?"

"Um... Well obviously before having you join us," Raven says. "So I guess a few days...?"

"That seems pretty often," Arella says.

"And yet," Raven chuckles, "Rorek and I have been trying to take this slow."

"You left home and still ended up like me," Arella chuckles back.

Raven and Arella share a smile as they look at each other, and feel a bit closer as mother and daughter. They sit close together and bide time waiting for Rorek by watching...

Outside the cafe, Central Perk, Monica and Phoebe lead the others to a van parked out front. An old van, with a painting of a woman riding a dragon on it. They of course have the others cover their eyes so it'll be a surprise.

"Okay...!" Phoebe says, "open up!"

The others finally see the van, and are of course stunned. Ross does his best to speak first.

"What did you want to show us? Because all I see is this bitchin' van!"

"Yeah, it's for our catering business!" Phoebe says.

"I think I know that girl," Joey says as he looks at the picture.

"Alright," Monica says, "we're not gonna really keep it this way."

"No?" Rachel says.

"No," Phoebe says, "we're gonna paint over the sword, and replace it with a baguette!"

"Oh...!" Rachel says back.

"And also," Phoebe says, "we don't know what to do with this."

She flips a switch and there are lights on the lady's nipples!

"Oh yeah, I definitely know her," Joey says.

"So no one told you told life was, gonna be this way~!"
*CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP*
"Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's DOA~!"

"I never did finish this series," Arella says.

"I've barely watched any of it," Raven says. "Which episode is this?"

Raven asked that but she's the one pressing the "info" button on the remote.

You return back to the hotel and luckily find a spot next to the Charger to park Shadowfax.

"Thanks for bearing with this, boy," you tell Shadowfax.

You bring the drinks on the long journey from parking garage to the elevator, and from the elevator to your room. You manage to hold the tray in one hand and knock on the door with the other. Raven opens the door and you notice the change in clothes.

"I'll take those," she says.

"Thank you," you say.

Raven brings the drinks to the bed and you follow, closing the door.

"Remember that guy from cooking school I told you about that put cilantro with everything?"

"Oh sure, Cilantro Larry."

You look to the television and see they're watching Friends.

"Well, I'm gonna fill in for him as food critic for the Chelsea Reporter," Monica says.

"Wow, Monica!" Ross says. "What an amazing opportunity to influence... dozens of people."

"How could you say yes?" Phoebe asks. "What about our catering business?"

"Oh no-no-no, its only one night a week," Monica says. "And plus, I get to take all of you out for a lot of free dinners."

"Yay~!" Ross, Rachel and Joey all say.

"Oh in that case," Phoebe says as she starts hopping up and down, "YAY~!"

Monica gives a very confused look.

"That's me hopping on bored," Phoebe explains.

"Oh!"

The three of you sort out straws and have your drinks.

"Hey, you guys!" Chandler says as he enters. "Hey, Ross, quick question for ya. Are you ready to party?"

"I dont know," Ross says, "I could maybe go out for a couple of beers, but theres this thing about bumblebees on The Discovery Channel that I was planning to watch."

"No, no," Chandler says, "I don't think you heard me. Are you ready to party!?"

"No...!" Ross says excitedly. "Gandolf?! Gandolf is coming to town?"

You laugh at them using that name.

"Kathys with her parents, I have nothing to do," Chandler says, "so tomorrow we are partying with Gandolf, dude!"

"Dude, we are sooo gonna party!"

"Wow!" Phoebe says. "Okay, dude alert! And who is this guy?"

"Mike 'Gandolf' Ganderson," Ross explains, "only like the funnest guy in the world."

"Im gonna call and get off work tomorrow!" Chandler says.

"I'm gonna call after you!" Ross says.

"This is gonna be so cool, dude," Chandler says, "we never party anymore!"

"WOOO~!" they both let out.

"Alright," Monica says, "were you guys smoking something in the back of our van?"

"Really," Joey says. "And what do you mean you never have fun anymore? You have fun with me. Remember that time we saw those strippers and you paid me 50 bucks to eat that book?"

You all laugh a bit at that.

"Joey, you are gonna love this guy," Ross says. "Gandolf is like the party wizard!"

"Well why do you call him Gandolf?" Joey asks.

"Gandolf the wizard," Ross explains.

Joey is still confused.

"Hello!" Ross says. "Didnt you read Lord of the Rings in high school?"

"No, I had sex in high school," Joey says.

You three chuckle again while the show goes to break.

"So," you say, "for our plans in the morning. We don't have to check out right away, but there is a chance getting on the road will be tricky with the weekend coming. How about we pack up, check out and...

"Yeah, that sounds fine," Raven says.

"Agreed," Arella says.

"Thats fine," Joanna, Rachel's boss, says. "Actually Im on the hiring committee, so therell be at least one friendly face."

"Ohh! Thats great!" Rachel says.

"You know, Junior Miss is where I started," Joanna says. "Oh, I had to sleep with the ugliest guy to get that job."

"Really?!"

"No-ho-ho...!" Joanna says with a laugh; but then she pauses. "Yeah... I mean, no-no-no-no-no, dont you worry, Im sure with your qualifications you wont need to sleep with some guy to get that job. Although, I might need some convincing."

"Well, I, umm..." Rachel says nervously.

"Kidding!" Joanna says. "GOD, I feel wild today!"

As you three and the studio audience laughs, there's a scene transition back to Joey's and Chandler's apartment.

"Oh man!" Chandler says. "I am so excited, I may vomit."

"Will you calm down?" Joey says in annoyance. "Hes just a human guy."

"Look, you don't understand," Chandler says, "Gandolf is amazing. You'll never know whats gonna end up happening. You go out for a couple of beers, and end up on a fishing boat to Nova Scotia!"

"Really?!" Joey says.

"Oh yeah, it's a beautiful country up there."

"Hey!" Ross says as he enters. "Okay! I got my passport, fresh socks, and a snake bite kit!"

"It's not gonna be exactly like last time!" Chandler says.

"All right, Ill see you guys," Joey says.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Ross and Chandler both say.

"Whoa-wh-wh-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa!" Chandler says by himself.

"I have an audition," Joey explains, "but I'll definitely hook up with you later. Where are you going to be around noon?"

"Somewhere maybe along the equator?" Ross says.

"Okay," Joey says as he leaves.

The bell rings, Chandler answers, and it's Gandolf!

"So, are you in town?" he asks excitedly. "...Oh, well, well maybe next time then."

He hangs up and Ross asks what happened, and it turns out, Gandolf won't make it to New York, he's stuck in Chicago.

"Aww, man!" Ross says. "Chicago is so lucky!"

"Stupid, useless Canadian money!" Chandler says as he throws what are apparently Canadian dollars on the counter.

You laugh and Friends goes to commercial break again. You finish your drink and brush your teeth. You want to change into sleeping clothes for the night but the ladies are still here...

"I'm going to change in the bathroom," you say as you grab your change of clothes.

"You can change in the room," Raven says. "Nothing I haven't seen."

"Well, sure," you say, "but I'm still putting something up."

You look around but there isn't really anything useful to put as a divider, especially with the ladies sitting on the bed's covers. So you instead use Illusion magic to make it as if you're not even here. That is to say, you put up an image of the wall behind you in front of you.

You change, still watching them just in case, and get into your clothes for the night. After that, you drop the illusion and join the ladies on the bed.

"We could still see you in the television," Raven says. "When the screen goes dark, there's a reflection of you in it."

Arella stays quiet but there's a bit of a blush on her cheeks.

You sigh, having forgotten about physics and science.

Rachel returns to her office, carrying a picture for her new office. But from Joanna's office, out comes Mrs. Lynch with a box of things.

"Oh hi, Mrs. Lynch!" Rachel says. "Is Joanna in already?"

"Oh my goodness!" Mrs. Lynch says. "You haven't heard!"

"Heard what?"

"Joanna passed away last night."

"Oh my God! How?!"

"Well, she was leaving work, and she was hit by a cab."

"Oh my God! Oh, I cannot believe it!"

"I know!"

Rachel just keeps saying, "Oh God," over and over.

"I didn't realize that she was so close," Mrs. Lynch says.

"Yes, so close," Rachel says, obviously talking about something else. "Mrs. Lynch, I know this is an emotional and difficult time for all of us. But by any chance, did Joanna send any paperwork your way before... it happened?"

"No, nothing," she says. "Imagine, if she had just stepped off that curb a few seconds later."

"Yes, yes, just a few seconds and she'd still be with us," Rachel says. "Nothing about an assistant buyer?"

"No, I'm sorry," Mrs. Lynch says while crying. "I have to go."

Mrs. Lynch leaves and Sophie arrives with a happy, "Good morning!"

"Oh, Sophie, I guess you didn't hear about Joanna," Rachel says.

"Oh I sure did," Sophie smiles.

"Aww," you say with a laugh as the closing credits play.

"Well, what say we turn in for the night?" you say to the ladies.

"Aww, alright," Raven says.

You escort the ladies to the door, but then Raven and Arella both remember.

"We don't have the key card," they say.

"I left it in the room when I went to the hall," Arella says.

"I'll just phase us through the wall," Raven says. "Night, Rorek."

You walk the ladies to the wall now and Raven gives you a good-night kiss. She then helps Arella travel through the wall, and you turn off the television. You set out clothes for tomorrow so that everything else can be packed away, then you turn out the lights and go to sleep.

The next morning, You wash up, pack your sleep clothes and put on your fresh clothes, and start to think you'll need to do laundry soon. You make sure the bed is tidy, then wait in the hall for the ladies. You wait for ten minutes and they exit, fully packed and ready to go. Zelda is in jeans and a tee while Arella is in one of the casual dresses.

The three of you make the long walk to the front desk and check out with the concierge on duty. The key cards are returned, and the bill is settled.

"Was this all room service?" you ask.

"No, we noted your visits to MORE the Buffet," the concierge says.

"Oh, you did? A very smart hotel..."

You pay with credit card and head to the parking garage. Shadowfax and the Charger are just fine, and you load the luggage in the back. You bring out the tow hinge for Shadowfax, attach it to the back of the car, and with no one around to see, use magic to assist in getting Shadowfax up and onto it.

"Just bear with me, boy," you say as you pat Shadowfax's seat.

You carefully back out of the parking spot, and are fortunate enough to have clear space to make the turn towards the exit.

"What diner would you ladies like to go to?" you ask as you drive.

"How about just a Denny's?" Raven says.

"Well I suppose that's alright," you say.

You spot a Denny's, pull into the parking lot and are lucky enough to find room for both Charger and Shadowfax. The three of you walk in and find a table by the windows. You pick up the menu and look at the great selection.

You go with a Breakfast Skillet. They're very big and are surely very filling.

Your choices are the Santa Fe Sizzlin' Skillet, the Fit Fare Veggie Sizzlin' Skillet, and the Supreme Sizzlin' Skillet.

The Santa Fe has chorizo sausage, fire-roasted bell peppers and onions, mushrooms and seasoned red-skinned potatoes, all topped with cheddar cheese and eggs made either over-easy, poached, sunny-side-up or soft-boiled. Obviously the Veggie is with vegetables, but is still topped with egg whites. The Supreme has a bit of both, with sausage, veggies, cheese and the eggs. As such, you'll go with the Supreme just so you have all the choices.

Oh, there's an option to add toast or a tortilla to the order. Hmm...

You decide to have some toast. Maybe make yourself a nice skillet sandwich with some of the items. Hmm, you should have options like this for your restaurant.

"What're you having?" Raven asks as she sits across from you.

"The Santa Fe Sizzlin' Skillet," you say. "And some toast."

"Oh, that does look good," Arella says. "But I think I'll have this All-American Slam."

"Oooh, that does look nice," Raven says. "Hmm... I'll have this Grand Slam Slugger, it sounds really good, too."

A waitress walks over and takes your orders. She asks what you'd like to drink, and you go with orange juice.

"Alright," you say to Raven and Arella as the waitress goes to the kitchen. "From Las Vegas to Mt. Hood, that's a good 14 to 15 hour drive, if it were non-stop."

"Right," Raven says. "So getting out of here before 9 still means arriving no earlier than 11."

"Right," you say. "So the plan will be..."

"Okay," Raven says with a nod.

The drinks arrive first and while you went with orange juice, the ladies went with milk. You have a few sips, and find there's just a bit of pulp. That's actually not so bad, it means it's fresh and natural.

"So if we spend the night somewhere," Raven says, "we'll arrive in Mt. Hood at around, what? Noon?"

"Depends on where we end up and when we leave," you say. "If we're going from 9 AM to around 7 PM, that's about 10 hours of the 14 hour drive. So yes, if we get going early, we can make it to Mt. Hood with lunch."

"We should let your family know then," Raven says. "They'll be flying in, right? They'd need to get going now, basically."

"Yes, very true," you say. "Well, we should give ourselves some breathing room in case there's traffic or some other obstacle delaying us. I'll see if they can arrive..."

"That's a good amount of time," Raven says. "We'll arrive, get rooms, rest, then meet them at an airport."

"Let's see what airports are nearby," you say as you bring your phone out. "Oh, Hanel Field is on the way in. Well that's alright, we'll pass by to get a good look at it."

"But what about vehicles?" Arella asks. "How many are coming?"

"It'll just be my parents, my sisters, and my grandparents for a total of six," you say. "We have room in the challenger for two, but we should definitely get them a rental."

"Perhaps just another sedan. Father, mother, and my grandparents can use the other car, my sisters can ride with us. Or we switch it up some times, with grandparents in our car and my sisters with my parents. Either way, a sedan should be just enough."

"Okay," Raven says.

The meals arrive, and you have to be careful with yours because it's right on the skillet and that is hot. You thank the waitress before she heads off again, and you dig into your meal. You have two pieces of toast, and scoop a bit of sausages, peppers, mushrooms and tomato onto one, put the other on top, and have yourself a skillet sandwich to start.

You three are very satisfied with your breakfasts, and the bill isn't so bad, so you leave a 20% tip. You go back to the car, but find some jerk parked by Shadowfax, essentially boxing you in given the tow hitch.

"Welp, here's some of that delay already," you say.

You move Shadowfax off the hitch manually, and have Raven stay with him off to the side while you move the Charger around. You get it out of the spot and in the aisle, and then park it there so you can quickly get Shadowfax back on the hitch. You then all get back inside the Charger and you pull out of the parking lot.

Traffic is light right now so you make good time finally getting out of Vegas. You get on US 95 North and after a few hours, you arrive in the little city of Tonopah. Here, you're to make the transfer from US 95 to US 6, but you also decide to get lunch here. With Shadowfax attached, you carefully pull into the drive-thru of honestly the only fast food thing here, a Burger King.
