I haven't seen Far From Homebut from what I recall of infinity war, I assume they are talking about Tony Stark.

I am not going to call out the posters. But even here we have people suggesting that it is okay because it might be great down the line. This idea of the wait for the game to be good is a horrible. Hell Mortal Kombat put out knew character over and over . However their core came was finished when it was released. These games as service games make video gaming worse.

Some live service games do this better than others. The ones that have a satisfying gameplay loop and enough content up front to keep players occupied tend to do better.

The criticisms that this game is somehow wrong because it's not a game version of the MCU movies are completely idiotic.

The criticisms that the game has a severely lacking end game loop that won't even remotely hold the interest of most players once they finish the story mode is valid, and is where I'm at as somebody who bought the game.

I like the game. The gameplay loop itself is fun, variety of course is an issue. The game clearly has a lot put into it, although not nearly as polished as it could be. I'm not in any really hurry for it to get to where it needs to be. I honestly have other games to play. I maxed out 1 of my heroes and so I casually play for a bit every day, then I do something else. Complaints are valid of course, but I've always been kind of shocked at how seriously gamers take these things. Maybe it's because I don't game as much and I'm only gaming as much as I am because I have nothing better to do.

Making spiderman exclusive to playstation killed the last bit of curiosity I had in even playing this.

Spiderman was amazing despite not using the likeness of any actor.

It's also not a Games as a Service title.

People keep saying that, but I don't think it's true.

Did they put in a good number of references to the movies so that way people unfamiliar with the comics could feel in on it. Absolutely. But the biggest piece of evidence that they were not trying to milk the MCU 100% is that they DIDN'T use the likeness of the characters to a T. People keep saying that they're stunt doubles, but short of them taking a hard left with designs and making every Avenger literally unrecognizable to even the comics, that would always be true, because the MCU both took influences from and heavily influenced the comics.

Thor acts nothing like Chris Hemsworth's Thor, and Cap is not a quipper. Tony is less of an asshole and more of a dork.

They diverged on quite a few things from the MCU, which shows that they weren't going for MCU likeness which is just as well, because I'd like these characters to exist longer than whatever their most popular actor's contract does.
