Kyler Murray Daniel Jones Dwayne Haskins Drew Lock Gardner Minshew Which Sophomore QB that started in week 1 will have the best season this year? - Results (20 votes) Kyler Murray 60% (12 votes) 12 Daniel Jones 0% (0 votes) 0 Dwayne Haskins 15% (3 votes) 3 Drew Lock 5% (1 vote) 1 Gardner Minshew 20% (4 votes) 4 Rules: 1. Pick who you think is going to win each week. Please try to keep it in the order I have it in. I will be using ESPN to pull the game order this year, which is what I believe the other league uses. 2. You may have up to three LOCK's each week. These are your primary tiebreaker. If you use more than 3 locks only your first 3 locks will count. SUPER LOCKS, however, will always count as the first lock, regardless of order. 3. Picks must be made within 5 minutes of start time 4. Don't delete your post. Editing is fine as long as it's done by the deadline for each game 5. Correct locks earn you 10 tiebreaker points, incorrect locks are worth-10. If you don't make picks you earn -50 points. 6. Super locks may be used on the game of the week. Get it right for +20 or wrong for -20. Just put SUPER LOCK next to the game of the week. You may also use a regular lock on this game instead. Just omit the word 'SUPER" 7. Once during the season you may LOCK ALL. Just say LOCK ALL in your post, and you will lock every game. Each correct is worth +10, and each wrong is worth -10 (for up to +160 points in a 16 game week) 8. The player(s) who correctly lock every team (minus any teams that go winless) at least once will gain +320 tiebreaker points. If nobody manages to do this, then whoever correctly locks the most teams will get a bonus of +160 tiebreaker points 9. In some weeks (but not necessarily all) there will be a TRIPLE THREAT of games. If you get all three right, you earn 60 tiebreaker points, but if you get just ONE (or more) wrong, you lose 30 tiebreaker points. Any you get right will still be counted among teams locked correctly. Simply put TRIPLE THREAT instead of LOCK for the games you are choosing to use it. 10. I reserve the right to remove any player from the player list if they've missed picking at least 28 games. 11. Ties count as Ties unless you didn't pick, then they count as a loss. 12. I'll accept picks from other leagues, but limit it to one source. Picks from other sources must be submitted to me by Monday at 5:00 PM. Bears don't have the same sort of shutdown or explosiveness at offense that the Steelers did. Atlanta Falcons @ Dallas Cowboys Cowboys didn't allow a passing TD against them and are facing a much weaker secondary this week. They'll likely be better at sacking Matt Ryan and shutting him down more than Seahawks did. Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers Never forget that Lions designed themselves to beat the Packers and were 0-2 against them last year. After Trubisky's comeback... I expect another 0-2 season against the Packers this year. Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans Rivers had a lot of trouble hitting the end zone with a new team against this Jaguars Defense, but Tannehill shouldn't have that problem with a team he's been with, and Titans defense should be able to shut down Minshew. Minnesota Vikings @ Indianapolis Colts Cousins got some time to explore his offense against the Packers. Rivers didn't show a strong understanding of his against a team as weak as the Jaguars. Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins Only one of these teams show a wish to win games. It's not the Dolphins. San Francisco 49ers @ New York Jets LOCK Perfect time for Aiyuk to get healthy and practice with Sanu to see how this offense will look in a few weeks against a team that isn't the Jets. Meanwhile the run game will do most of the point scoring. Los Angeles Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles SUPER LOCK Rams beat a better defense at home, Eagles aren't gonna have a great time against the Rams defense. Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Brady will still be learning this Buccaneer offense, but with Panthers being down some key pass rushers, the loss of Godwin won't matter too much with Evans and Howard standing strong, among other targets Brady will get some playtime with. Washington Football Team @ Arizona Cardinals Hopkins still isn't 100% with this new offense, Washington has a strong pass rush that will rush Kyler and likely force some turnovers. Kansas City Chiefs @ Los Angeles Chargers Tyrod is not accurate, and Chiefs are strong. Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans Time for blowout against the Texans #2. New England Patriots @ Seattle Seahawks LOCK I'd like to give a nice little thing about this. Cam Newton is 2-6 against Russ, when Russ has been in a run first offense since the beginning of his career, and even in the two wins (both in 2015), it wasn't Cam's passing that won them the game. The Seahawks had weakness against the long ball last week while Newton is massively inaccurate and won't even have a healthy deep threat. He's not gonna run over the Seahawks either, they've never let him do so. New Orleans Saints @ Las Vegas Raiders Without Michael Thomas, Brees is going to be learning a bit about this offense and Kamara will likely be targetted by the defense. He'll still score, but we don't have enough information about how Saints will do without the top 5 receiver, while Raiders are warming up to their pass offense led by rookie Henry Ruggs (most yards, third most targets behind Jacobs and Waller) --- I'll just go back to gifs.
