Originally starting off I didn't really care for it until I killed Rom and i thought things really started to pick up. 1 and 3 were both pretty good but i'd give the edge to 1, and currently running through 2 and found a few areas were incredibly annoying. I like the bosses just fine, but again, they're generally not as imaginative as in the other games. I've heard that 2 mainly excels at all of the options for character builds and weapon upgrades.
