Which is sad cause rioting is ruining a very justified protesting, but my presence would just turn everything into automatic fail

Yeah I was about to say the same. The police are actually pretty good here, and I haven't heard a single person defend the murder. I mean I've even got cops on Facebook straight up calling it a murder along with everyone else.

I know. Its all wrong. By rights we shouldnt even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, its only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didnt. They kept going, because they were holding on to something.

Because large groups of people combined with the fact that outright riots have broken out already are only going to intimidate police, bring them closer together as a group, and cause more problems.

It is only a matter of time before a rioter gets seriously injured or killed by the police and things escalate even further. The circumstances leading up to said rioter being injured will not matter, even if the police shoot him while he is charging them with a Molotov cocktail.

Social reform. The economy can always bounce back but we dont always have moments like this where everyone is amped up about a specific type of injustice. Then again, its very unlikely that anything will actually change after this. Honestly I dont think the elderly care that much about social reform or the economy

Most people that are killed unjustly by the police are white. Keep peddling this 'systemic' bs and it just keeps feeding the narrative that blacks are living in a country that despises them and they are being targeted and hunted down by everyone. Also in the US, blacks commit crime against whites much more than whites commit crimes against blacks.

You contradicted your own point...
George Floyd was murdered unfairly yet people should be blaming themselves instead of the police force?
The US has a history of police brutality
Minnesota has a history of police brutality
Derek Chauvin has a history of police brutality

Also tell that to the police using tear gas and pepper spray on people when they were protesting peacefully and essentially starting and instigating the riots and to the Target for not allowing said protesters to purchase milk and other goods. They had nothing to do with George Floyds murder either yet theyre actively hurting people over it...but you forgot about that part
Rioting isnt what anybody WANTS for their city. Its an effect. If you have a better way to get their point across that people havent already tried and been mocked for, then say it.

and Target has insurance and likely underpays its employees. Im sure the CEO is gonna be fine

It is going to escalate tonight. I would be very careful if you were planning on joining any protests, even if they are supposed to be peaceful, tonight.
