I wonder what's the future of Re:Logic is now that this is the final Terraria update.
Installing it now actually. Going to create a new character in everything (First time since even before moon lord).

I'm not really sure how I feel about the duplication thing.

The cheat mode is convenient, particularly for stuff like boss items. I remember using a save editor for those in the past because I hated farming them again after I died. Terraria is already a major time sink.

But research-duplication is way more powerful than I expected and it trivializes collection and crafting. Maybe if the material requirements were way higher and/or it cost money I'd feel better about it. As it is now, it's like minecraft's creative mode with some weak requirements. Also, you really need some self-control not to duplicate enough gold for those limited time deals from the traveling merchants. haha

Something I didn't expect was how much better it makes inventory management. I don't need to sort tons of things through several chests because I can simply delete everything after researching it. The duplication screen has become something like a item inventory book for collection purposes.

I made a new character and a new world to check out the new content. Just Classic mode for me. I am going to use this character in a Expert mode server though.

people have reported a lot of new performance issues popping up, and also multiplayer lagginess

if it's just you, i think there's a frame skip option that's helping people. and maybe also disabling background for some reason

Forgot to mention those changes made the game playable. Though, I abandoned the silly ass idea of playing a new character on an expert world. Just doing a normal world with a new character for now, will transition to the expert world eventually, or maybe have the normal world as my home base and go to expert to loot expert only items.

Is it just out for PC or consoles too?

I haven't played much since hardmode was first introduced, was inspired by Ningishu to go back in once expert mode and the moon invasion thing was new but got side-tracked.

Guess I'll take the plunge again.

ended up beating normal world with friend, moved onto expert with same gear and beat it

might do a fresh start master at some point but for now we're just messing around in journey mode

also terraprisma is balls hard to get but man empress of light has good music
