The worst part is, we still don't even understand covid after half a year. People, specifically Americans, had no idea if, when, and where other attacks would occur. I cant imagine the fear that people would have lived with. In contrast, corona is less outright terrifying and more of a slow burn. After the initial shock caused by the shutdown, people have settled into a new normal. Its hard to call looking over your shoulder for new terrorist attacks a new normal. Point being that its silly to compare them.
