For me super soft buttery scrambled.

Whisk eggs until they are as runny as they can be, normally takes about 4 minutes for me. During that time in a nonstick pan I am heating up a table spoon for every egg and a half on medium heat until it begins to foam a little, then salt the eggs, beat them a few second and pour them in. I then will stir them constantly making small lumps until they are mostly curds that are VERY moist. On a plate with fresh ground pepper, flakey salt, and chives if I have them.

You?

Scrambled with cheese. The way my mom cooks them in the best. But I can at least eat scrambled with cheese most places with no problem...

Over easy so the yolk is still runny, on Wonder bread with mayo, salt and pepper. You bite into the sandwich and the yolk bursts and dribbles yellow goo everywhere.

Lately though I've been cooking eggs in my pressure cooker. Takes like 5 or 6 minutes for soft boiled eggs, less time than it takes to boil water in a regular pot.

if that's what I think it is, there's something about shredded hash browns that I just can't stand. I dunno how the taste changes so much from just the shape, but shredded hash browns taste terrible compared to diced. crispy diced hash browns + egg yolks is the absolute best.

In baked goods

Came in to say this. I don't eat eggs in any way other than as an ingredient in other foods. And not even if they're the primary ingredient (like in egg salad, for instance).

I do eat egg noodles and french toast and egg-battered breaded chicken and baked goods, though. So it's not so much that I'm anti-egg entirely, I just don't like eggs in and of themselves.

To me, they taste the same, tbh. I think the only real difference it it's easier to hold toppings in an omelette. Though, I know on base, they use real eggs for scrambled and the egg mix for omelettes unless you specifically ask for something different...

I guess I'm counting tons of toppings as an omelette (cheese, tomatoes, onions, ham, etc.). if you're comparing the same stuff mixed into scrambled as is in the omelette, then yes it's basically 6 of one half dozen of the other. scrambled might even be a bit more fluffy and juicy depending how you cook it, whereas omelette can be a bit dry in comparison.
