I use various brands of mouthwash but I'd say I use listerine more than others. I have used Biotene, Therabreath, Crest and Phillips Sonicare.

Nope. I mean I brush my teeth and clean my mouth out often. IF I ever have bad breath gum or a mint can sort that but that would apply regardless of if I use mouthwash often or not. Still using mouthwash more can only benefit me so I should.

Make sure that you rinse your mouth BEFORE brushing your teeth. If you do it afterwards, you're washing the residue of the fluoride toothpaste off your teeth.

I stopped using the mouth wash because I noticed how much it effects the taste of food for me.
I have to find one that doesn't alter the taste of food.

Or you might be better off not. There've been suggestions that alcohol-based mouthwash can dry out your mouth and actually make things worse in the long run.

I don't rinse at all. Just spit is fine. Although if really needed a very little amount of water AFTER is what is recommended to me as the toothpaste needs to stick and the point in rinsing your mouth is some folk don't like the taste of toothpaste too much. Wetting your mouth before would make the toothpaste not stick if you use a large amount of water and seems a pointless thing to do.

I tend to stick what's recommended to me. Mouthwash is optional for me.
