And she wants me to do this for 3 weeks straight. My mom SWORE that the producer called the boyfriend and that he told the boyfriend to tell his girlfriend to tell my mom (4 fucking degrees of separation!) that he had a job for me. When I told her that didnt make sense, that the producer had my number AND email and communicated to me on both, and would likely just go and tell me he had a job for me, my mom got upset and started crying there too, telling me that I constantly sabotaged myself, and that this guy was for sure going to offer me the 6 figure job he had that also paid to travel. And she sat in my room and stared at me until I called. Then she listened in as I talked, but stayed over my shoulder and kept telling me exactly what I had to tell the man. He likely heard her shouting. The producer had NO idea what I was talking about. The next day, I received a letter of rejection saying that they passed on my script.
