I think emotions in general are somewhat contagious. If you're around someone on a daily basis and they're always pissed off, I think it can definitely rub off on you

there was an archie comic about this. person A is in a bad mood and takes it out on person B who had been in a good mood. person B, now in a bad mood, does the same to person C, etc.etc. until person Z eventually takes it out on person A, completing the circle.
