It was made by Toei (same studio that made Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Pretty Cure) and basically turns the Powerpuff Girls into a magical girl anime. And I'm going to watch it just to see if it was as bad as people said it was, especially now after the 2016 reboot of the actual PPG cartoon made this look much better by comparison. Calwings 11/04/19 9:39:01 PM #6:	First episode down, and yeah, that was about as ridiculous as I expected. The first half of the episode was just a quick introductory fight, then the second half was the actual beginning of the series showing the origins of how the girls (who by the way are eighth-graders in this anime and not in kindergarten like the original PPG were) got their powers and how the villains became what they are now. Compared to Sailor Moon and even to Pretty Cure, PPGZ definitely has much more of a comedic and light-hearted tone. https://streamable.com/seutn https://streamable.com/5kxzq I wish I could find the show in better video quality, but it's from 2006 and I don't know if better video quality for this show even exists at all. Blossom is a superhero fangirl, Bubbles is "stereotypical dumb blonde" levels of airhead, and Buttercup is... well... simply put, she's best girl.
