Tote bins full of live frogs, live turtles, the seafood section is like a trip to the aquarium. If you go to a "real" Chinese restaurant, do not for any reason order any sort of fish. They tend to cook it bone in, and if you're not good at eating fish like that, you could end up choking on a bone. Once a month my wife and I buy one of the turtles and release it into the river near our apartment. So much sea food here (I live in a coastal city though). It's extremely cheap but some of what they do sell is weird as fuck though. The frogs are fucking huge. They're Chinese softshell turtles which are local river turtles.
