Id say Final Fantasy 1 for me, probably somewhere between 15-20 times. I go back to it with some regularity, and have given myself a few challenge runs on it (win with 4 black mages, a solo white mate, etc). Ive never done a low level run or a speed run - I tend to take 12-15 hours to beat it.

Curious to see what some other answers are on this, I expect itll be all over the place. Predicting Chrono Trigger to possibly be the most popular answer (if there even is one).

I would say Final Fantasy 1, but it takes only about 2~3 hours now.

I do replay long games, but I can't think of any in the 10+ hours range... using Chrono Trigger as an example, which I've beaten at least 40 times (by default, 'cuz endings), subsequent endings only take a small additional investment.

I've done Final Fantasy X 3 times, 12 3 times....

I have done Final Fantasy 6 at least 10 times, and I might be close to 10 hours on it, definitely more if I'm clearing the Rage list.

I've done a soft 4-job Fiesta for Final Fantasy 3 a couple times... mmmm

Yeah, maybe one of the tales game, probably symphonia. That game was so much fun to play with my brothers when it came out. I also played vesperia with them, and beat it a lot as well, but not as many times as symphonia.

OoT might be up there as well. Maybe dmc3se and bayonetta as well, but they might not take ten hours to beat

I guess it's possible to be Dwarf Fortress... but that's not a game you beat.

You can put in over 10 hours per run, but you don't win.

It's gotta be Ocarina of Time, if that's even 10 hours. I'm not sure it takes me that long at this point. Otherwise it might be something like ALttP or Mario 64, but that's kind of the same thing, they don't seem like 10 hours anymore.

If those don't count then I have no fucking idea. Maybe Twilight Princess

I just got done with a third playthrough! Took 28 hours the last playthrough, but I cared about less stuff that run (was trying to get the last Flanoir scene to finish the Collector's Book). I have to play through one more time though because I forgot to get a title for Colette.

Depends on if you count New Game Plus stuff and the difference it can make in repeated playthroughs. For example, with Soul Nomad and the World Eaters (PS2), I got a certain equip up to seven boosts by beating the game that many times. But while the first run (Good alignment) probably took around 40 - 50 hours, the second run (Evil alignment) took closer to 10 hours, and the following playthroughs took even less time because I could steamroll everything.

If you count only times when all playthroughs would be over 10 hours, then Borderlands, maybe Borderlands 2. I've beaten the first with all characters and some of them multiple times, on PC, PS3 and 360. The second hasn't been finished with all characters, but still just as many, and did the first NG+ with one as well.

Probably Rayman Legends. Got the platinum on both PS3 and PS4, and one of the trophies requires you to grind out a bunch of daily challenges to reach the top level.

Maybe MGS 1 and 3

Deus Ex HR I beat a bunch of times

Heavy Rain and Detroit trying to get all endings

Until Dawn for the same reason

Assassin's Creed II

Most of these I've only beat a few times

It's gotta be Paper Mario 2.
I used to really like it and play it obsessively and Youtube was still new so I was getting a good stream of new ideas, twists and challenges to make it fun. There was Dangermario, beat Bonetail with 10hp, try interweaving the trouble centre with efficiently beating the story, try hoarding coins and see how it affected the run, try a run with overreliance on each partner, just play through again completely normally for fun, try to play as fast as possible, try playing with an unorthodox set of moves and badges, or maybe just replay to find something new to talk about or say about it.

I miss having that curiosity and sheer enthusiasm to replay and experiment with even a game as same-every-time as Paper Mario 2.

As I pointed out in a post of mine I never plow through a game there almost always some level of me goofing off for awhile in the game for no real reason aside from enjoying the gameplay. So what would be a 8 hour game to some people turns into a 10 hour game for me.

Probably Fire Emblem Awakening, because I keep trying to find a party that will make Normal mode a decent challenge but that doesn't violate common sense (for instance, by not having any healers). The game always ends up getting way too easy by the end, though. I guess I also like reliving the story and listening to the characters talk.

I have beaten the game on Hard mode, but it was hard enough that I don't feel like doing it again. >_>

Inventory management adds multiple hours to any game I play that has it - I literally cannot walk through a room in any game and not pick up every single item not nailed down.

I spend a LOT of time in Skyrim walking in slow-motion to the nearest town or place where I can stow junk because encumbrance is my eternal foe.
