No. I was going to get one done several years ago. Had the design, artist, artsyle and everything picked out. Was going to get one on my bicep to cover an unsightly scar. Forgot what came up but never got around to it

The artist is now in jail for manslaughter. Decided to stab someone in the neck. Turns out he became a bit unstable and bit stabby in the wrong sense

No. Not against them. Grew up in a very heavily tattooed family. But I'm very hesitant to put anything on my body forever. It would have to be very meaningful and I'd have to be absolutely sure. I have an idea and could possibly do it someday. One issue is that I'd want a tattoo on my hand and most decent artists will not do that as a first tattoo. So I'd have to convince someone that it really doesn't matter.

I'm only willing to get a tattoo if it's a mandatory part of joining a secret cult that controls the world from the shadows, and has been manipulating human history for thousands of years.

You all funny. No one going to hire anyone with many tattoos. No one want to see ink on your skin. Look at the rappers all tatted up head to toe. What they got just wrinkle skin with memories they wish forgot to get done. I just feel like tattoos just a hustle don't ruin your body.

Someone would need to be rather out of touch with modern workplaces to think this. I'm a well above minimum wage consultant with no issues. The last place I worked with any tattoo issues was back in 2013, their policies have even changed since

Face, neck, and hands may present some problems, most tattoos are fine in many workplaces. There's also things like wearing long sleeves if necessary. Tattoos are common, people of all income brackets have them

Yeah, I just never really got tattoo culture. I cant even buy clothes without getting tired of it like a month or so later. Forget having the same thing on my body for the rest of my life. Plus I spend a lot of time in Japan, and you cant even go to the peach or pool if you have a tattoo, or get hired for most jobs.

Nope. Maybe one day though. I do like good ink and often find most people who have good ink have a good story to tell about said ink. I don't however like "tramp stamps" that some folk get just to say they have a tattoo. My sisters best mate had paw prints above her arse for example. It doesn't look good.

I want a couple, but only after I get to the physical shape I want to be in so it doesnt tear or shrink.

After more research, apparently this is a common misconception and only usually happens if done around the armpits.

I know the military and security jobs allow it. Military just has a few rulea on it like size I think and bans a few types like anything recognized as a gang tattoo.

Also not true. You can argue and get a waiver for neck and hand tattoos you already have, which may or may not be approved. But you can't get new neck or hand or arm tattoos or add to any existing ones if you get signed up.

Basically, it depends on how much the recruiter needs to sign people. I have seen people get turned away for tattoos when I did recruiting duties. I also saw people signed with waivers.

Prisons here just make you wear long sleeve if you got tattoos below a certian point on your arms. I doubt they allow hand and face tattoos. Not sure if they allow neck IF the collar covers it or not. My mom has a tattoo on the back of her neck but her hair covered it so they didnt say shit to her.
