I never left the airport (though I did leave the terminal in Colorado on accident and had to go back through security). Well legally you didn't set foot on that state. State or city or nation, legally you have to leave the departure zone of the airport to count as being there. If you were there in a layover , local governments don't considered you to have been there unless you walk out of the departure zone I was in a Hong Kong airport but legally I have never been to Hong Kong because I stayed inside the departure zone and then got on another plane <cite>Zikten posted [p:922127412] in Does being... A layover typically is just a few hours where you don't leave the airport.
