I wonder of there will be free time in this chapter since the characters are stuck in this Funhouse. Alsom the statue of Sakura from DR1 in the grape house is very nice.

I had no idea it was Mikan. They asked me who did it and my thoughts were "I'm supposed to know who did it?" That trial was great and one of my favorites.

It was a really good trial. I think all the trials have been pretty good and well thought out so far. Can't wait for the next one.

Holy shit, it's the events of the first game in this file.

The hairs on the back of my neck went up when that stuff came about. I loved the characters in the 1st game so much, I was like Oh shit, it wasnt just a stand alone game - theres a connection!

It was very cool seeing the characters from DR1 again. It was also neat seeing the DR2 gang piece things together like Byakuya taking part in the events of the first game and that this isn't the first killing game. I love little tidbits like that in sequels or continuations of any series.

I knew it was Mikan. She was pretty excited about performing the autopsy, whereas before she was revolted by the idea. Seemed like she had something to hide.

There's nothing wrong with it, I just felt it was too complex. I don't think I had any part of this trial fall into place while going through it, had to use a guide for the whole thing instead of bits and pieces.

I'm trying to get a physical copy. I don't know what it is but if I prefer to have physical copies of the series instead of some digital and some physical. That's just how I am about video games. I have physical copies of the Kingdom Hearts games on PS4. I have physical copies of all the Dark Souls games, 3D Zelda, Mass Effect, Xenoblade, etc. It's incredibly dumb but I prefer keeping everything together as physical copies if I can help it. I also tend to let friends who can't afford to spend a lot of money borrow video games so there's that. It's not the biggest deal if I can't get a physical copy but it'd be nice if I could.

The only exceptions I make are for older games. I could go buy older games at this arcade place near me but I'm not going to go through the hassle of getting those old consoles out of boxes and hooking them up to the TV. Anything from the Gamecube and up is fair game for going out of my way to get a physical copy. Otherwise, I'll just have a digital copy.

I spent about one hour looking for Danganronpa V3. Finally found a copy at a GameStop Ive never been to. This GameStop was so large and the woman working there was super chill. She even wrapped the game for me instead of putting the gross sticker on it. I will definitely go to this GameStop from now on.

Yeah, its just practically tradition at this point especially since so many games nowadays are insanely large. I believe it was the newest Doom that was over 100 gigabytes. Thats insane.

Well, first and foremost, R.I.P. Nekomaru. We just got him back and now he's gone. He wasn't my favorite character or anything but he was cool. As far as who killed him, I have no idea. I've done the investigation and I'm still at a complete loss. I don't know how the fallen pillar plays into this. Nekomaru's oil is the pillar so maybe that's what killed him? The hammer was completely clean after all. The killer completed that escape room and could move freely between the Strawberry and Grape houses so it could have been anyone.

However, there was a loud sound which I assume was the pillar crashing around 5:30 AM, right? I assume Nekomaru died around that time. However, Fuyuhiko, Kazuichi, and Gundham were messing around with the lounge alarm clock at that time if I remember correctly. So, I doubt it was them. The again, none of the girls aside from maybe Akane have the strength to move that large hammer probably.

I also think the fun houses are in the castle that was inaccessible on the fourth island given that window Nagito discovered but I could be way off base here. Speaking of Nagito, he's acting strange. I cannot say what he knows for sure after seeing those files but I'm thinking since he's began talking down to just about everyone that the Ultimate students aren't who they think they are. Mika became the Ultimate Despair once she got her memories back and she was probably talking about Junko when she mentioned her "beloved". The other students might be Ultimate Despairs themselves once they get their memories back but that's purely speculation.

It's cool that I'm going into this trial completely unsure of who the killer is. Also, I enjoyed that escape room. It reminded me of Zero Escape.

Chapter 3 hurt me.

First off was Ibuki dying, she's a sweet girl who didn't do anything. Then Hiyoko died(deserved, imo) and throughout the trail I was just "Please don't let it be Mikan." "Please don't let it be Mikan."

Now that I've let that whole trial sink in, I must say it was at least interesting but there's no way I would have suspected Gundham going in. The Grape House and Strawberry House being on top of each other never really occurred to me until it was pointed out. The elevator going around the building hit me out of left field as well since elevators do not work like that. At least, to my knowledge.

The only tip I could think of that pointed towards Gundham being the killer was the Good Night button on Nekomaru. I don't think anyone could have snuck up on him let alone tag him in a fight so Gundham would have used The Four Dark Devas to pull it off. Messing around with the clocks was a nice touch but it's too bad Fuyuhiko ruined his plan by coincidence. It was thought out surprisingly well for him.

He was over the top but I think I'll miss his presence. Gundham was definitely unique even among the Ultimate students. I liked his execution and I hope The Four Dark Devas of Destruction are alive and well.

I suppose there will be one more class trial. I really hope everyone but Nagito makes it but I know at least one person has to die and one person has to be the killer. I'd rather not see anything happen to Chiaki, Fuyuhiko, Sonia, or Kazuichi. Akane is take it or leave it. I couldn't begin to guess who the "traitor" is. Chiaki said some weird things like "Please don't forget about me if you escape this island." once I finished her report card. I'm hoping best girl survives this.

I was upset by Ibuki dying, too. She was nice and the mood bringer of the group. She deserved better tbh. Hiyoko and Mikan will be missed purely for their interactions with each other.

You might be the only one who thought that was obvious.

I didn't realize it either until it was pointed out but it made sense once it did. After figuring that out, determining that the tower was actually an elevator itself wasn't too difficult. It's just those two houses being on top was surprising.

I didn't like this trial for the sheer reason that I didn't like the motive. The whole situation was waaaaaaay too forced. I mean sure, Monokuma gives motives and reasons to kill to everyone, but not like this. This was just flat out forced.

I'm getting super lucky with some of my deductions. However, I'm not sure how everyone else did it but I do spend about 10 minutes going over the evidence and trying to connect the dots right before the class trial begins. I think that helps quite a bit. New things get revealed during the class trial so throws me off, though.

Also, I should have been more attentive to who the devs were because I loved Zero Escape and the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. Makes sense as to why I'm enjoying this series so much. I'm definitely going to check out that AI: The Somnium Files coming out in a few months. They also published a game called Steins; Gate which I have heard a lot about. I may need to check that out as well.

This game becomes kind of depressing towards the end when most of the characters are dead. Also, I feel bad for Kazuichi. Dude just wants Sonia to give him some attention.

I did this in reverse, something made it really obvious to me that the tower was an elevator and from there it was pretty clear the two areas were stacked

Also, Steins;Gate is a pure visual novel. It's probably one of the best science fiction stories ever told, but don't go in expecting, well... a game.

That's fine with me. The only pure VN I've played was a free game called Doki Doki Literature Club since it was so popular at the time. As long as I enjoy the story, that should be enough.

Yeah, he gets shitted on a lot for a guy who has been pretty useful throughout the game. Even Hajime feels a little sorry for him now. I don't think anyone actually respects him.

I was really, really hoping that Kazuichi would die instead of Gundham. I had it narrowed down to those two when I had to select the killer in case 4, and I was praying that it was Kazuichi, but nope. :(

Holy shit, Nagito actually died. Dude was tied up and stabbed. Damn, he was pretty twisted but his intentions were kind of good? I liked the sequence building up to this. Running frantically around the islands, the fake out with the bombs, and the creepy music plus fire.

I think you get undergarments of everyone you max ? In third game you definitely do, don't remember about the second though
