I have a pretty good route for collecting monocoins. Every free time, I go to the Ultimate Inventor Lab, Dining Hall, Warehouse, Library, all three classrooms, and the Ultimate Pianist Lab. That nets me almost 200 monocoins which is nice.

I havent started the investigation yet but yeah, everything surrounding this is very creepy. The life like wax figures of the deceased students hanging upside down with Angie dead in the middle of them.

I definitely cant wait to start the investigation in the morning and figure out who did this. Im also really liking the Shuichi/Kaito/Maki team up. I was so ready to believe it would be Kaede/Shuichi/Rantaro at the beginning of the game.

I want to say Korekiyo is the killer but I feel like that's too obvious so it has to be someone else. The reason I think it's him is because I listen to the group singing that Caged Child song over and over again. It sounds like Korekiyo's voice fades out and back in but I'm not 100% sure on that. Also, Angie should have bled more from her wounds but she didn't. There was also dried blood under the floor of the middle room. I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow tried this ritual earlier convincing her to take part in it and then killing her. He used to duct tape to cover the wound so that there wouldn't be a blood trail from the middle room back to her lab.. In addition, he did seem more distressed as to why the ritual didn't work with Tenko more so than Tenko's actual death. Also, he thought somehow had tripped during the song even though that's obviously not true. Korekiyo definitely know more than he's letting on which is suspicious.

Culpit cannot be Shuichi or Maki. Kaito is too afraid of ghosts to pull off something like this. I can't find anything point to Miu or Kokichi being the culprit. Plus, Kokichi is always suspicious. I expect him not to kill anyone at this point. That just leaves the student council members. They all seemed to adore Angie so I'm not sure if any of them could kill her. Tsumugi was quick to place blame on Tenko, though. Himiko is way too sweet to murder anyone and she seemed genuinely disturbed at the sight of Tenko's death. Unless she's a good actor, she couldn't have faked an emotion like that.

My deductions are most likely wrong but I do think Korekiyo is the most suspicious out of everyone as of right now. Though in these trials, there tends to be more info revealed so I'm hoping that clears some things up. I do think the killer of Angie and the killer of Tenko are the same person. It'd be interesting if they weren't.

As for Chapter 3 itself, I enjoyed it very much. The biggest surprise was Maki herself. I didn't expect her to have such a vital role in the game from the beginning. Like I said before, I expected the main trio to be centered around Kaede/Shuichi/Rantaro for the events of this killing game. I love being wrong about that. I hope to see more of Maki interacting with the rest of the remaining students. The Maki roll is starting to become a favorite character of mine.

R.I.P. to Tenko and Korekiyo. Tenko deserved better honestly but I like how this development has changed Himiko's character. I only hope that she isn't killed off the way Hiyoko from DR2 was killed off after Mahiru died. Going forward is going to be tough for me. I'd rather not see any of the characters from here on out die. Tsumugi is kind of bland so I can take or leave her. The rest are pretty cool and I genuinely want them to live. Hell, I've really liked the cast so far outside of Angie and Tsumugi. The next killing is going to be hard. Plus, Kaito isn't looking well..

I liked the investigation and class trial but coming to the conclusion that it was Korekiyo felt pretty easy. I didn't account for all the details and misinterpreted a few things but it felt obvious to me at least. Still a good class trial but I think it would have been far more interesting if someone else killed Angie and Korekiyo killed Tenko. His execution was great, though. His sister was pretty attractive, too. One thing I still don't fully understand is how Korekiyo set up the sickle that killed Tenko. He placed the sickle under the white cloth? How did no one in the room notice? Furthermore, was there some kind of slit on top of the iron cage to hold the sickle? I'm a little confused as to how that whole process went down.

I have no idea what to make of that Rantaro video as of right now. Plenty of theories are flowing through my head on that one right now.

Definitely. I was hoping there would be a different killer when Korekiyo said he did not kill Angie. I guess Monokuma added that rule to throw off the characters instead of outright stating it's the same blackened in both cases. Shame the writers didn't take advantage of this.

Yeah, I really felt like this was V3's biggest missed opportunity.

The cast having to survive with an openly psychotic Kiyo who admits to murdering someone would be an amazing plot point.

You should either have Kiyo come to realize the error of his ways and try to atone for the murder (while also always being the top suspect for everyone since he already killed once), or even just have him be the very next victim since everyone would have a motive. There's so much you could do there, and I was pretty confident that the game was going to go down that route. Then it's like "jk lol it was all just Kiyo."
