Depends how long.

I love a quality manicure, with some length... but it's very easy to go too long.

For example, Blaire White? Too long.

I'd like mine longer, but I do too much mechanic work, sports, and other activities. When I put on nail polish it's generally chipped in just a few hours.

On gals? Sure. Assuming we are not talking really long nails. They are good for scratching too. As for on guys? Not really but I suppose the scratching could work there too.
