We know how much this site likes the nostalgic games of its childhood; that's going to be even worse in a medium that most of the site isn't very deep into and may not have watched much of since they were a teenager. Anime being widely and legally available on streaming services over the past few years has probably helped a bit but the sheer amount of options is going to prevent anything new shown there being worth much and again, at that point we're talking 30 year olds experiencing something rather than 13-year olds. I think anime entrants on gamefaqs would only be potentially worthwhile (everything outside DBZ and Pokemon might still turn out to be fodder) if they had mass exposure on television in people's formative years when the biggest mainstream hits (Pokemon/Digimon/DragonBallZ/Sailor Moon/Yu-Gi-Oh) were available on your local station and Toonami was a popular mainstream thing. If it wasn't on U.S. TV in the decade or so between Pokemon/DBZ/Sailor Moon and Death Note, I think it's practically guaranteed to be almost worthless. Anything that requires you to have watched it online or on DVD is probably an instant-lose.
