In the stats topics, there were numerous people admitting to fraudulent multi-account vote-stuffing for Tifa in Battle 110. Given the closeness of the vote, this fraudulent behavior could have well changed the outcome. There is now an enormous amount of money at stake for people on the leaderboard who have Tifa advancing to R4 or even R5, and while I'm not accusing any particular leading entrant of foul play, there is a clear financial incentive.

If it's found that fraudulent vote stuffing would have changed the outcome of Battle 110 (Tifa v MMX), it shouldn't be impossible to take one day out of next week's break (or even just alongside a Legends Div 1+2 battle) and redo Battle 118 as Luigi v MMX.

MMX was the one with confirmed cheated votes. Granted it wasn't many, and Tifa may have had more, but no one ever showed for sure that Tifa had any.

Yep, if people really like Tifa a lot, they'll vote for her any way they can and get their family members and friends to do so as well with social media or the such..

And hell even if we are talking Allen era, he had to remove stuffed votes from fucking Guybrush.

But it would only happen if it was one person flagrantly influencing the match, ie Melee/Starcraft (which wasnt changed because Melee won even with the Starcraft stuffing)

Even if flagrant stuffing was found in Tifa/X at this point, nothing would be done. We've already moved on, too late to call the penalty now.
