It honestly makes more sense. She's a complete sociopath and a jerk and no one ever calls her out for it. Even after like 9 years of mistreating, manipulating, and generally being a complete jackass, everyone considers her family.

I'll never understand why people say they are assholes. They were a pretty good reflection of normal people. Them getting compared to sunny or Seinfeld is crazy. Might as well say the cast of cheers were sociopathic.

The "bad" acting and dialogue in the prequel trilogy was intentional bc jedi have their emotions suppressed, so obviously their dialogue would feel unnatural and weird.

Yeah, at times, they were all jerks. The difference, though, is that Monica, Chandler, and Joey had some serious redeeming moments. Chandler, in particular, was pretty much the guy everyone went to for a shoulder to cry on. Rachel, on the other hand, actually gets a lot better, and has the excuse that she doesn't really realize what she is doing wrong. Joey is far too stupid to realize when he is a jerk. Ross has a mental breakdown throughout the series.

Phoebe, on the other hand, actively brags about how smart she is and how great she is at manipulating everyone else. Not only does she never do anything nice for any of the other friends, but she also brags about manipulating them. Where the others either have redeeming moments of, you know, actually be friends, or are just too stupid to realize how selfish they are being, Phoebe knows better and brags that she is a bad friend constantly.

At the end of Revenge of the Sith, Padme dies because Palpatine saps her strength to keep Anakin alive. This explains why she died despite nothing physically being wrong with her as well as how Palpatine knows that Padme is dead before it's public knowledge.

I was so convinced of this being what happened that I'm surprised it's not what canonically happened.

Apollo Creed over-trained for the rematch and went into the fight already exhausted.

The first film could've been a true story. The only scrap of Hollywood bullshit in the entire film is Rocky's first punch knocking down Apollo. Everything else is true to life with the film even acknowledging that Rocky's only able to hang with the champ because Apollo didn't train for the fight.

The sequel has Apollo training like a man possessed. By his own admission, he's never trained harder for a fight. Conversely, our hero has just six weeks to train for an undefeated Muhammad Ali stand-in who is obsessed with beating him. The only way Rocky could logically make it past the second round is if Apollo entered the rematch half-defeated. And since Rocky getting a couple of body blows toward the end of the bout seems to even the score after 7 or 8 rounds of domination from Apollo, I'd like to think that I think Apollo suffered a rib injury while training.

This one's tongue-in-cheek, but I sometimes like to think of Predator as a prequel to Commando. Since Bill Duke was in both movies, I'd like to think of his character in Commando blaming Arnold Schwarzenegger for the death of his identical twin brother in Predator.

Not only is Arnold playing a top commando in both films, but both feature the fictional South American country of Val Verde as well. (No, it wasn't Guatemala.)

The Regi trio from Pokemon Gen 3 were references/tributes to WW2 bombings.

Just came across that one last month, but it made a lot of sense.

Continuity #2 Dalton and Brosnan
(The Living Daylights through Die Another Day)

The reason Agent Peggy Carter's show ended at Season 2 is because in Civil War she dies. The whole time the show was her telling her niece Sharron stories. Season 2 was as far as she got before passing.

She was the massage woman of the mayor and our logic was that she was killing people in the city in order to make the mayor less stressed so that she would have to massage him more and make more money. What is pretty funny is she actually plays a integral part in the story later on which we were not expecting. IIRC she was irrelevant for the first episode. I dont think you even see her, I think she is just mentioned.
