Board 8 > Did anyone else get a match between Aerith and Zelda?

I stared at that match for a long time trying to figure out how to possibly pick a winner between two characters that really seemed almost equal. Zelda franchise vs. FF franchise is always a rough choice.

I have that match, but that's the wrong one to worry about IMO. If Zelda can beat Squall to get to that match she's going to beat Aerith. Squall is the far stronger opponent and should be considered the favorite IMO.

I have Fox beating Aerith, though I'm not super confident in that.

I just don't know about Zelda. She consistently underwhelmed in our last 1v1 character battle, but then in 2013 she looked like she would have made the semifinals under "normal" circumstances. Still going with Squall as the more proven entity, but you never know.

Zelda has always been stronger than Aeris. It shouldn't be a difficult match.

That being said, I have Squall vs. Waluigi in that match.

Zelda would win very easily but its not happening. Steiner isnt too good at these contests which is why it would be tough for him to call.

I think that division is going to end up Squall/Waluigi or Zelda/Waluigi... I expect the Walu rally to be strong.... but the D. Va rally can be strong too. Might even get a battle of rallies with D.Va/Waluigi

Division 5 is stressing me the [REDACTED] out. I really want to put my chips on D.Va to make it to the division finals, but Aerith is no slouch. Neither is Fox, for that matter, though I have to wonder if Star Fox Zero took some wind out of his sails here. Finally, I'm also concerned that Waluigi can take a tennis racket to my bracket.

I'm not worried about Squall > Zelda though.

5 is stressful, 3 is even worse because it's got a Round 1 match that's potentially worth 7 points.

I assume you're referring to Kefka vs. L-Block? I'm taking Kefka to the division final myself, and I feel pretty good about it, but I can definitely understand where L-Block supporters are coming from.
