no but it still sold like a billion copies so if even a really small percentage of people care he could make it. The last 3 GTAs got their protagonists in, I figure V can manage one too.

I'm currently playing Detroit and I wouldn't be surprised if a character shows up (well-timed release; if this were held next year there would be next to no chance anyone gets in without a rally).

But yeah, a lot of N9ers and a TON of midcarders are going to get in with virtually 0 board support.

The tally topic show Max with just as much support as Chloe and Kate, and she probably was the default nom for LIS fans (the last database update was the day noms went up on the homepage), so I wouldn't be surprised to see her get in.

I don't think Isabelle was in the database either. Her Smash reveal could've made the difference there.

And for Harrich, I'm hoping Metal Man made the cut.

Nominations are closed and KamikazePotato's Survey/Census topic contains not a single nomination for Charizard or Squirtle so far, they aren't really characters that people were nominating organically before the NRT got them in, and since it's been 5 years since the last character battle I'm not sure many outside board 8 are going to remember to nominate them.

I wouldn't be surprised if one or both miss the bracket.

Squirtle will probably not get in without a rally. If the Character Battle had remained annual, then that win over Cloud could have made him a staple for a few years. But it's been so long, people who don't follow the contest meticulously probably don't even remember it.

Charizard will probably get in without Board support. Probably.
