The reason I am so successful in this contest is because I have conviction and make sure my trade partners have conviction too. You have people who abandon causes on a whim because of a fancy catch phrase and that's just a bit sad. I like Cyan as a character, not one o fmy top favs but I like him, so I do find it brutal when people just abandon things they like and go 'oh well' when if two people have a character as a # 1 priority being safe until 5 saves is virtually a lock.

Cyan was never my number one priority, I just wanted to help improve his stats and avoid boots. Garnet was the one I truly abandoned this year (and even that was after helping her a bunch, and I made the shift in priorities known in advance instead of just abandoning her at a critical moment or something).

I am free to choose my own priorities. Also I remember several people from your Steiner alliance who failed to follow through on their future obligations the following year and you didn't care (this came up when Red XIII went out in particular), so please don't lecture me on conviction.

If you wanna blame anyone for Red XIII that'd be my evil doing by freeing my friend Leo3leo from captivity by telling him he didn't have to do anything he didnt want to. If Chris had any say in it (he wasn't around) surely he would have been upset.

To call Cyan's history mediocre would be overselling it - in nine appearances, Cyan has managed more boots (3) than top half finishes (1), and that one top half was only just. It's been bad enough that this is a decent improvement for him - Cyan goes up from 23.54% to 24.59% - but he fails to pass anyone, staying at 106th and in the bottom 10.

Yeah, Chocobo is the playable character from Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales on DS and FFF: Chocobo's Dungeon on Wii. Also a Japan-only sequel to the DS game.

Possibly also the same chocobo from the PS1 Chocobo's Dungeon games but I dunno.
