The parts covered in the sample reads more like a yuri novel though... And the main girls family name is Hokage, which I find more amusing than it should be. VNs like adding sexual content to these kinds of things because they can, and being called an eroge is enough to get their intended audience rolling. Once read a really shitty VN that had like one totally story irrelevant and generally all around irrelevant nudity cg with 3 lines attached to it, and it was calling itself an eroge. It's a fucking haha funny bunny joke. Of course once you get into the sub-specifications of eroges, that's where the distinction becomes a bit more valuable. Aokana has the cuteness of a slice-of-life and the energy of a sports anime, and the "FC" matches in the show are surprisingly fun to watch.
