It's kinda crazy the extent to which it blew up. We always had a pretty consistent activity but we might reach a point where it's too much lul. Might have to split into a few more channels, which I personally didn't like in using other Discord channels.

I think it would benefit tremendously from creating a dedicated monster hunter channel. It would cut out a lot of the clutter in the general chat. I found it hard to keep up with other discussions with 20 blips a minute during the monster hunter sessions.

No need to create lots of channels. Just one or two of the big discussion topics.

Hmm, so the latest volume of Kino's Journey manga (Shinomiya) clears up another ambiguous detail from the LN. I mean, most LN readers probably knew this already, but this time it's pretty much 100% confirmed to be true.

(Spoilers for 2003 anime series EP4 and 2017 series EP11)
The ruined country Kino visits in Blooming Prairie A is confirmed to be Kino's home country. The manga's backgrounds shows the country's clock tower and the surrounding buildings, and also Kino's old house.

Apparently the fansub I downloaded of this week's Revue Starlight episode included a "clean" subtitle track and a "meme" subtitle track. This will be... interesting. EDIT: Done watching the episode normally. Pretty cute episode revolving around two of the side cast, Futaba and Kaoruko. Futaba definitely jumped higher up the "best girl" rankings after this episode. Now time to watch it again with the meme subs.

I read two Volumes of Junji Ito's Tomie. Junji Ito too good. Unsettling as hell. She's a great character too. As horrible as she is, you can't help but love her. Absolutely my favorite thing from Junji Ito.

Gonna watch the live action movies. But I'm afraid of them because, well, Japanese Live Action adaptations of anime and manga aren't the best thing.

Right... I remember watching the LA adaptation of Uzumaki. Was pretty dry in the acting department, but they did well with the creepy atmosphere.

Then theres Gyo, which was decent, but both the original manga and the animes rewritten scenario arent really fit for a long anime episode.

And the Ito Junji Collection, well, its got a few good parts in, but the adaptation work feels pretty dry for me because the art style doesnt seem to translate that well to full color.
