Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista is coming to James Gunns defense.

On Friday evening, the actor tweeted that he's not ok with the writer-directors firing from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which Disney announced earlier in the day.

I will have more to say but for right now all I will say is this..@JamesGunn is one of the most loving, caring, good natured people I have ever met, tweeted Bautista. Hes gentle and kind and cares deeply for people and animals. Hes made mistakes. We all have. Im NOT ok with whats happening to him.

How amazing would it be if the stars of this franchise come together and refuse to do the 3rd one without him?

Bautista is 100% right.

But the knee jerk haters of the week always get their way in the name of justice.

Batista knows Gunn. Unlike all the people online who are hating on Gunn. I trust Batista's judgement. And if there is anyone in the MCU who could make Disney cave under pressure, the combined cast of the Guardians of the Galaxy. they are huge. supposedly Disney has made a historic amount of money just on Groot merchandise alone. If they end up having to cancel Guardians 3, that would be the biggest blow to Disney in history and they don't want that
