I thought I'd be able to just chuck the old hard drive into my new console and have it work, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Looks like I'll have to format my HDD and re-download all the games I want. --- I will walk down to the end with you, if you will walk all the way down with me. Got it pre-owned for ten bucks, and it soldiered on til the end. The first sign of my PS3's death was that it wouldn't connect to wireless controllers. My fake one wouldn't connect without a cord, so I assumed that it had finally kicked the bucket. I wanted a real DS3, so I decided to go to my local game story to buy one for $60 - in 2016 mind you, what the fuck - and they only had a similar fake type to my "dying" controller. I bought it like a chump. Fresh out of the box, and it was a crusty, unresponsive piece of shit. It looked just like my old bootleg one, but it didn't fucking feel like it. And it was when this crusty asshole didn't connect to my PS3 wirelessly that I knew it was a problem with my console. It died like two months later. Game store has no more dualshock 3 controllers. I hear they're hard to come by online. I've lost my low-charge bootleg, and I'm stuck with the low quality ripoff. Kinda want to, but why buy PS+ on PS3 for that price when Nintendo is about to drop an online service for $30 a year (Aus $)?
