lmao, I changed her positioning for that screenshot. But yeah, I have my other good ARs tied up in other groups (and didn't dummy link G11), so she's having to make do with her scraps. I'll probably just end up swapping the SMG for Thompson once she gets her third dummy link, and maybe get in M16A1 later.

It depends on which rifles you're using. Rate of fire caps out at 120, but there's no cap on damage per shot. If your rifles have a higher base RoF or a skill that increases their RoF (which WA2000 has both), then further increasing RoF with handgun buffs may take you well past that cap of 120, which means you're wasting those buffs. For those faster-firing rifles, increasing damage is better. For stronger but slower-firing rifles, raising rate of fire is better, as long as you don't go over the cap of 120.

And as I have mentioned before, NTW-20 is awful for general team usage. Combined with her high base damage and incredible multiplier on her Interdiction Shot skill, she has the highest single-shot damage potential in the entire game, so she's fantastic for taking down bosses. But her normal damage output outside of that is terrible. She's either not doing enough damage per second to sturdier enemies due to her awful RoF, or she's drastically overkilling more fragile enemies in one shot and wasting damage while also not being able to take down the next fragile enemy in the mob soon enough due to that awful RoF.

Don't use NTW-20 on a normal in-game team. Just don't.

That's not too bad though. M16A1, being the only non-shotgun capable of equipping armor, is a pretty darn good tank while also having solid damage output. LWMMG is a fantastic MG for her low rarity and low investment needed, and Mk23 is a fantastic damage buffer, especially for night battles. If you set that team up in a T formation (with M16A1 out in front of Mk23 and the others in the back row) you've got a pretty solid squad for night battles that's also fairly respectable during day battles too.

Keep in mind that if your rifles are of the slower and more powerful variety, Mk23's damage buffs may cause that same "overkill" problem that I mentioned with NTW-20. SV-98 and Springfield are both middle of the road for the rifle category, leaning a tiny bit more towards RoF, so it shouldn't be an issue on that team.

She's garbage in night missions, every armored unit + sniper breaks through her armor so i leave this echelon as a backup against non-armored echelons.

Also missed the point, when i said frankestein, i meant i pulled all these echelons out of my ass cause i almost have every gun in the game at this point, so i'm just leveling shit and seeing what works, i already got most of the meme and meta teams ready so why not try different stuff for this dumb event the koreans spoke doom and gloom of, while i just laugh at it because its too damn easy...

My main team is currently around 16.8k power (it'll drop down when I start leveling my G11 replacing my G41) My backup team is around 12.7k which clears as many trash mobs as it can.

Any suggestions as to what kind of teams to take to Operation Cube? I just started; I only beat the first mission yesterday. I was wondering if 9A-91 is worth leveling because of her night damage skill. This is my main team (I'm grinding UMP and G41, so the combat effectiveness will go up a lot in a bit lol)

Dammit, I lost another Lee Enfield roll. I could use another good sniper for night battles. Been inching along with Springfield + PTRD (lol) + M2HB + M60 for armor-piercing needs. Might have to level up that Mosin Nagant a bit.

Pretty sure I could've beaten the 1-4 night battle earlier if I hadn't ran out of rations, of all things. Might as well try tomorrow. Anyone know the drop rate for Springfield's five-star ammo in that one?

Actually wait, who's better for Cube: Astra or G17? I like that G17 has a full column of buff coverage in front instead of just an X shape, but I like Astra's RoF increase. I think that WA2000, G17/Astra, UMP9, 9A-91, and ST- AR-15/416 will be my backup. I'm leaning towards G17 and ST AR-15 because they allow more buffs :3

Actually...Are snipers necessary for this event? I'm also considering having UMP45 front and center, ST AR-15, 9A-91, and M4A1 in the center column, and G17 in the back. So UMP would get the buffs from ST AR and 9A, both ARs would get the buffs from M4, and the entire middle column would get the buffs from G17. Or if it's easier in 10-key terms

HG's grant field of vision in night missions, and their buffs affect every type of gun.

You wont be able to see what is in the node next to your units without an HG, but you can totally clear night missions without one in one of your echelons.

Just remember you can't summon another echelon if you don't have vision of the helipad/command post.

Yes. I do not like her design at all, and I've only kept her around as long as I have because the Single Action Army is iconic.

Luckily, she's getting a star upgrade, and her new design is sooooo much better.

All i know is that M4 becomes a killing machine with her 2nd skill being a really long lasting(?) grenade launcher.

I say ? because as far as i saw from the videos i watched, it could've either been a duration grenade launcher, or you got X nades to throw lol
