And I've told you one thousand times, I don't care if she's good. I don't like her. And because I don't, I will never use her. Plus, I have NTW-20, who is also a nuke, and does everything M99 does, but better and looks badass while doing it.

There's more than one perfect team, hell you can make the perfect team out of 2*'s if you manage the auras properly, it's all about team placement and auras really.

The best data sampling team is a 5*, a 4* and a 3* with whatever left for the 2 slots that buff damage and RoF, could be a 2*, could be a 5*, whatever.

There's gimmicks for everything.

There's also completely ignoring game mechanics just for looks like how pop does, which can get you as far as you're willing to bash your head against the walls the game throws at you lol

Whenever I think about keeping two-stars in the long term, I'm reminded of Ween's "Blarney Stone" song (in my case, the lyrics would go "Galil was nice, she was pale and cute, but I threw her away like an old piece of fruit"). I'd much rather make the transition to a bunch of four- and five-star teams, plus a few select three-stars. I've already gotten to the point of having a bunch of random units laying around that I'm probably never going to use.

I still have my level 70 or so PPK since she's just that good, and maybe ill get an IDW to 100 for the memes, but other than that, until we get neural corridor, 2*'s are mostly enhance fodder asides for a few select ones.

Same. I find a balance too. I try to stick with my favorites, but I'll also use units that I don't like that much if I get stuck and my team isn't cutting it. And I'm pretty sure there aren't any units in GFL whose designs are dislike so much that I would never use them no matter how good they are.

Star level isn't everything. There are plenty of 3's and some 2's that really kick ass, just like there are some 4's and 5's that underperform.

Yeah, the Limited's can be really brutal. There's one I'm really after right now, and she just won't drop man.

"M99 is another strong nuke rifle, second to NTW-20. Together, they form the core of nuke rifle teams.

Nuke rifles are entirely dependent on their firepower to fulfill their role. Their fire rates are too slow to give reliable DPS. M99's 157 FP is quite a ways down from NTW-20's 165 FP, but the similar skill multiplier allows her to keep up with NTW (1256 vs 1320 per link from base damage). To compensate for the lower firepower, M99 has a slightly increased fire rate of 32. Although still slow, it's better than NTW-20's fire rate, allowing M99 to shoot just a little faster. This doesn't matter too much since nuke rifles have low DPS to begin with, but it's a slight advantage over NTW-20.

Although M99 has the same skill multiplier as NTW-20, there is a small quirk in her skill. Unlike NTW-20, whose targets the frontline with her skill, M99 targets the backline instead. This gives M99 the ability to shoot past enemies in front of the target, but she may also have trouble on bosses that will rush ahead and not sit behind. This is a minor quirk, but something to consider when triggering her skill.

As usual, nuke rifles inherently have problems with really long initial cooldowns and only perform well in their niche of doing a large amount of damage within a small window. M99 is not versatile and should be used for the niche she was designed for, not as a general use DPS. She is paired with NTW-20 to create nuke rifle teams, also called ""big bamboo"".

Not recommended. Nuke rifles have a very specific niche where they excel, so if you want to level her just in case; go ahead."

Now that is how you use the Shrimp. She's a very rare example of an SMG that can do a lot of damage, but she usually can't because her accuracy is shit. Having AR's give her accuracy and damage boosts can turn her into a monster, and you can have a different SMG (or in your case, M16 with armor) as your main tank.

However, I would find a way to re-work the formation to get Shrimp out of that center position and have M16 in the center as the main tank. Unlike most SMG's, Shrimp can't take hits very well, especially if you leave her in the center like that. If she's in the off-tank position (2nd column, but not in the center row) she'll take less damage.

I mean she has the same average evasion as any other SMG, she just happens to have one of the highest damage of all SMG's but also one of the worst accuracies, and the gimmick team is pretty serviceable by itself, G41 for example is fundamental for that team.

Edit: actually her acc is on the lower side, but her damage is huge compared to the rest, also her skill is insane for extra damage
