Depends on the 5 Star and Class. Most all of them have a different timer. Here's an accurate time sheet.

It varies, but generally the longer the production time, the higher the rarity. Except Tommy...She only takes like 2:30 or something. Its super weird that a 5 star comes out so quickly.

Because she's an SMG. SMGs and Handguns have lower times.

For day battles: fairly important, but not totally necessary. They're useful for buffing other units, and once they're past level 80 and can equips exos, can be pretty good tanks. But a standard 3AR/2SMG team can do the job fine without one.

For night battles: absolutely 100% necessary. A team NEEDS at least one handgun on it to be able to see nearby enemies on the map in night battles. Some of them have a skill that sets off a Flare that helps the accuracy of the rest of their squad at night, but it's not as necessary. The extra vision on the map is a godsend.

HG only gets better as you go. In the end, putting one more like non-top tier AR on an SMG/AR team or like one more tank on your team isn't really gonna do much compared to universal huge buff coverage as well as team buff actives that come up quickly. There's very little reason not to put them unless your strategy absolutely needs like every piece, and they're all really really good

Yeah I only say it out of experience. I have a fully maxed Grizzly and Five-Seven who are both absolutely terrific, Grizzly especially one of the best, if not the best, SMG/AR supporting HG. Funny thing is, I get the best time with them on the data collection thing by putting them on the same team in the middle and snipers and my one maxed MG on the side. Their quick buffs and overall echelon does more damage than a conventional 2 SMG/ 3 AR team, unless of course your SMG is also dps (well there's only one worth talking about in this category, and that's SR-3MP) and they all have really good formation buffs.

You also should refrain from putting 2 tanks on a team. Doing this is not actually all that efficient when adding one more DPS or an HG actually lets you kill things fast enough that a single tank doesn't ever have to take damage in the first place, let alone 2 tanks. It's harder to defend your guns on the side but it's a worthy trade off because 2 tank teams eventually run out of steam while a 3 DPS 1 HG 1 Tank team might go an entire map without taking any damage at all.

Welrod has really flown up my ranking list. She's my second favorite Handgun and really high on the overall favorites list. She'd be a A-Teamer if I didn't already have Grizzly.

Tommy is a badass. She less evasion Tank and full Tank with some serious HP. What she can't dodge, she can take like a champ. Add in her force shield ability, and she's unkillable. My favorite SMG.

Got my daily IDW Da Nyaa!

I had to eat through about 10000 resources total to get that rifle, so I'm glad I got something out of it besides more Nagants/Springfields. (I'd be happier if I could x4 dummy link at Lv50 instead of 70.) Still, if I'm going to have a sullen sniper, I'd rather have Lee.
