Angela Wright from Brentwood, Tennessee was rushed to the ER after she had several bites over her body...because of the infestation of FIFTY BROWN RECLUSES in her apartment that she shared with her soon to be wife, Victoria Owen!!

She's been monitoring the spiders for weeks and constantly begged the building managers to do something about it...

They found 50 of them lurking in the apartment and until recently, the worst of it was just itchy bites all over body..until she went to a doctor finally after having HALLUCINATIONS and suddenly became worse..

She started having a tight chest at the ER as staff told her the bites somehow caused a blood clot and travelled into her lunghs

Angela said "I realized i needed to go to the ER when my chest was hurting. I had a sharp pain in my chest. I couldn't walk, i couldn't move and i could barely swallow"

There was bubbles forming in her lunghs that could caused pneumonia and if she had waited a few more hours she could be DEAD by now from a stroke!!

She didn't realize how dangerous it was until she was there after her blood clots formed.

Now she has to take BLOOD THINNERS FOREVER and doctors said she should NEVER have CHILDREN cause of this...

She is now trying to break her lease but management won't allow her to until she pays 2200 for an early release.

Angela said they can only give her a 60 day notice and she has to fulfill that but said "This isn't my problem. I came here thinking this was a nice place to live"

Do you think Angela should be allowed to break her release cause of these spiders?

Whether or not she should be allowed to break her lease would depend on the terms of her lease. Something like "The landlord shall take reasonable measures to ensure the property is safe for habitation" is pretty standard, but if that's missing, she might not have a case. If that's missing, she shouldn't have signed the lease, but that's another issue.

Not sure how an of this works but I would think if the management isn't providing a safe place to live they are the ones breaking the lease so it should be terminated.

The wording's ambiguous. If could mean 50 spiders collectively bit her several times, or it could mean she has several bites from a total of fifty spiders.

Homes have to actually be habitable. You can break you lease if it's not. And having an infestation of Brown Recluses means it's not. It's literally not safe to live there. They should have every right to immediately break their lease. TBH, they should even be able to sue, I believe. She can't even have kids anymore, nearly died, has to take blood thinners forever, etc...

clotted blood looks like red grape jelly :(. that's what her blood is now without the thinners.

Are those actually brown recluse? It's hard to tell from the images, but those look like a species that looks similar to brown recluse but actually aren't. The ones on that sticky pad are very likely to be southern house spiders.

I'm not saying she didn't get bit by a brown recluse (her symptoms are pretty severe) but it's more likely her infestation is the southern house spider. Brown recluse live in most homes in their habitat range, but they usually aren't found in huge numbers.

I used to live in a house with kansas with a large number of brown recluse (there were like 20 or so). I just let them do their thing, and they never bothered me any, and straight up murdered tons of bugs that got into my house, as well as other spiders.
