Seth MacFarlane, the liberal creator of several Fox shows says he's EMBARRASSED to be working for FOX after telling that to Tucker Carlson who tells his viewers to believe the opposite of what "big news" reports!!

Tucker said "If you're looking to understand what's actually happening in this country, always assume the opposite of whatever they're telling you on the big news stations"

Seth blasted that and said "In other words, don't think critically, don't consult multiple news sources and in general, don't use your brain. This is fringe s*** and it's business like this that makes me embarrassed to work for this company" said the crator of Family Guy, American Dad and The Orville. He's also made the popular movie Ted

He made his comments on retweets of CNN's Brian Stelter whose show Reliable Sources is a look at how the media covers the news. Brian said "Isn't this sad? Tonight, Tucker Carlson told his viewers not to believe ANYTHING tey learn from his rivals"

Fox News is the top of cable related news as they tell their viewers THEY are the only trustworthy news as CNN, NYT and Washington Post have called on viewers to look on several news outlets to gain a full understanding on what's happening in the world.

With the sale of Fox to Disney or Comcast-Universal, Seth will also no longer be working for Fox in the near future as well

No. Ideology aside, he's kind of an ass. I occasionally enjoy American Dad, though, and I used to like Family Guy (meaning things kinda reversed)

I would be embarrassed to work with Seth McFarlane.

I still don't get how Family Guy can be so ass, but American Dad is actually great. He has to have like a different team running that show and not get involved with it.

He's just being petty because he's left wing and Fox News is right wing. Though Fox and Fox News are not the same so I don't know why he's getting mad at Fox. And when I mean not the same, I mean ideology wise.

How is he being petty when he is calling out Tucker Carlson for telling his viewers to not believe any ther network outside of fox news? Despite what your political leaning are or which way a news station may lean politically, it is generally a good idea to get your news from multiple news sources and also good to read differing opinions on a range of topics. This helps you becomes a more intelligent well-rounded human being.

Only using one source for news and dismissing all others because that source tells you to, is just simply accepting ignorance.

Fox owns Fox News. If Fox News does something bad, and Fox looks the other way, you can certainly blame Fox.

I don't like how he sometimes makes characters on the show the sole voice of liberal reason in a world full of idiots (though it seems to be less frequent then before). Outside of that he seems to be okay.

And speaking of the show, I'm glad they wrote in the Quagmire hate angle, to call Brian out on his many flaws.

Naw hes right. Jon Stewart was doing ok at first but got totally rekt at the end. He would always try to call out political shows and then hide behind the excuse of his being a comedy show when called out on his blatant hypocrisy

To be fair "Fox" is "big news" it just so happens that they are one of the few (if not the only) big news that is more conservative. The rest of the mainstream media is heavily left leaning and they don't even hide it anymore. On the other hand, he's not wrong to suggest that the mainstream liberal propaganda pretty much is telling you the opposite of reality though. I wouldn't have believed it 2 years ago but there are just too many examples to point to these days that you can almost bet on it now.

Like I said, Stewart does good for a while until an audience member, of all people, causes him to get tongue tied and finally have the realization, "oh wow I'm just as partisan as them but I just kiss different asses." Skip to 13:30 and tell me he doesn't get destroyed. You can tell by the look on his face that he has nothing to come back with

Tucker is certainly a very comfortably wealthy man, but his networth is listed from 8-39 million, which is peanuts compared to the people he's generally referring to. And i don't see how his political opinions should be less valid because he's wealthy anyway. Are you suggesting that the more money you have the less you should dislike, or care about, how society is run or how people are wanting it to be run?
And even though Republicans may have power, they still face a barrage of attacks and obstacles that are constantly put in their way by the democrats (and it would be the same in reverse if the democrats had power - that's politics). Republicans may share a general set of values but there is plenty of disagreement when it comes to the finer details. Again, following your logic there, that would mean that if you were a wealthy democrat that your opinion about Obama's policies (while he was still the president) shouldn't be of concern to you... as if everything he did should be agreeable because of the group association. That's kind of irrational though isn't it?
