Besides, I don't deserve to have one, nor would I want to make her live miserable, solely by being with her.

this is how I feel too kinda

on the one hand, I wish I had someone that was that close to me. but on the other hand, I wonder if it would even last all that long, due to my weirdness. and it might stress me out trying to keep her happy. the girl I used to see movies with in WA, those outings stressed me out and we weren't even dating. I always felt relief when I got home from them. I don't know that I am built to even be able to date someone.

I stopped looking for a girlfriend. My personality type, INTJ, apparently has the hardest time finding a partner. Not like I would let a test like that deter me, but it lines up with my experience. I'm not picky.
All I want:
Mutual attraction
Plays games or is open to it
Can drive
Decent job
Lives within 50 miles of me
Nerdy interests
Not an emotional clusterfuck
Not handicapped
Speaks English

I know if I just get out there more and exercise I'd find someone but I'm too lazy to do that. I've been in two short relationships, but I broke up with the girls for legitimate reasons. Fortunately I'm happy single so that's good. Too many people act like they need a relationship to be happy imo.

it's not necessarily that; as someone who is asexual and a female, no less i guess it can come down to being uncomfortable with the idea of sex in general, if you're just unwilling to have sex, or don't enjoy having sex.

just because you're asexual, that doesn't mean you can't participate in sexual activities, it's just that you aren't interested in them. so in a way, you are right, but it gets a little complicated.

personally, i don't know how to feel about sex (as a virgin), but i'm turned away by the reproductive cycle; you're supposed to get a baby out of you, while you've had to deal with constant bleeding, moodswings and the urge to stuff yourself with food. personally, it doesn't seem appealing, especially when you have to get that baby out, sitting in hospital at some ungodly time trying to do it.

i have a twin sister, and we were born on mother's day; my mum's told me about how she was rushed in at about nine in the morning, and how she was in labour for an hour trying to get my sister out. i don't want to imagine what it'd be like for someone with triplets, but while people may talk about how rewarding it is after the fact (having the kid to love, raising it, etc.), i see it as women getting the short end of the straw in life because according to the bible, eve did the wrong thing in eating an apple, and god had to punish her.

which is why he made her go through menstrual cycles, pregnancy, unexpected mood swings and menopause u_u

Truth be told I dont go that route but I am horribly analytical about relationships. To me they feel like an extended interview process where its easy to drop the ball or turn someone off with a quirk that you werent even aware of yourself.

I really think a lot of folks make relationships out to be a lot harder than they are. Wanna know how to make a relationship work? Find someone that you're ok being bored with. Once the honeymoon period ends, it's mostly mundane stuff.
