They were talking about singing Christmas Carols and randomly adding in words like "KFC" and "watermelon". The fat asian guy said this. It's funny they upload a video and use an annoying shit word like "triggered" like that wasn't their intent; all their content is literally them trying to piss off black people and being surprised when they get pissed off.

Even though he had a bad reaction, I find it hard to judge him in this situation. I doubt it's his first time having this happen to him, being an older black guy I bet it's not something that he's unaccustomed to hearing. Hard to know if you haven't been in his shoes. I don't necessarily agree with it and wished he handled it better. But another part of me wishes he found these people after the video ended and beat the shit out of them.

yeah, he wasn't the one who started it and obviously he was emotional so i'll give him some leeway, but he still handled it very poorly.

totally disagree with you on the "he should have beat the shit out of them" thing. i'm sure a lot of people would agree with you but i'm too pacifist to agree with that solution. i actually hated that he was constantly threatening them with violence ("I'MA FUCK ALL YOU MOTHERFUCKERS UP! YOU, HIM, HIM AND HIM!") and almost attacked the fat asian kid until being stopped by the old lady - it just made him seem like a lunatic to me. i'd much rather he attacked them with arguments (though he didn't strike me as a great debater, so who knows who well that would have gone).

As someone who watches a whole lot of Twitch IRL streams, and who looks through the LivestreamFails subreddit daily, I feel like I have a little bit of insight on all of this.

Essentially, Ice and his friends purposely put themselves in situations where something like the events in the video shown are likely to happen, then blame the worst parts of their community when it does happen. They use Text To Speech in an attempt to bait donations that make for awkward situations in the name of "content".

Twitch has a policy that states a streamer is not allowed to feature someone banned from their platform while streaming, even if, for example, they weren't planning on it and someone like Ice just happens to show up in the background of a stream.

Normally, that's a situation that wouldn't happen, but all of the top streamers are currently at Dreamhack Austin, along with Ice, and Twitch has warned all of them about not streaming "just in case" Ice shows up in their streams. So now no one is streaming and Ice is getting 30k+ views because everyone is going to his stream to see their favourite Twitch streamer. So in attempt to suppress him, they've only promoted him and made his stream more of a spectacle and a bad time, such as the situation in the video, waiting to happen.
