Are you sure about the backdoor one? People in the house regularly don't understand what backdoor means.

The point of the video wasn't to educate them beyond the basics. When they're just being introduced to the format, more advanced concepts kinda felt out of place.

I'll make a separate video discussing the back door plan.

I love how we've gotten four tribal segments thus far:

Aras (weirdo trying to do some bizarre yoga thing with the tribe's hands)
Courtney (drawing a circle around a dead sea turtle)
Shane (detoxing and getting confrontational)
Cirie (afraid of leaves)

The four players being set up as the weird outcasts all become part of an amazingly successful alliance.

Really enjoyed Exile Island when I rewatched it a few weeks ago. Thoroughly enjoyed that mess of an alliance.

Exile Island has always been in my top 5. Many others have shifted in and out but that one has consistently stayed in.

So apparently Survivor just fired its long-time casting director. Which actually makes me pretty hyped for seasons 37/38, because when the producers are unhappy, it USUALLY means the season is good and not just one alpha male running roughshod over everyone else.
