I don't think I've even logged into Fire Emblem since I've started Girls Frontline. Drop the other gacha.

I still play FEH, just a bit less than before. Besides that and Girls Frontline, the only other gacha game I still play is Precure Connection Puzzlun, but since I already have all three girls that I really want and I can theoretically beat the game with just those three (or even just one if I really wanted) the gacha doesn't even matter anymore. I also still have Toji No Miko installed but haven't logged in for weeks, and Pokemon Go isn't even gacha. Every other game I used to play is gone from my phone now.

Recently been reading the manga Orenchi no Maid-san. Sickeningly sweet and cute romcom about a high school kid whose classmate begins working at his house as a maid. But she's also a total ditz and the guy is super serious. Naturally their constant proximity and hi-jinks lead them to have a crush on one another, and... well there's actual progress and steadily increasing affection between the two. Highly recommend

No way remakes of Genealogy and Thracia won't happen. There's a waifu goldmine there for them to milk and it would be silly to remake the worst game in the franchise but not the better ones.

Hopefully on the Switch.

I'll play any Fire Emblem game that isn't viciously jerking off Awakening/Fates at every single turn (fuck FE Warriors by the way) so I'd gladly welcome those remakes.

Since Thracia is considered a part of Genealogy's story (it takes place around the same time as the early second half of Genealogy) maybe they'll make some kind of combined remake where you play the Thracia chapters alongside the Genealogy chapters that take place at the same time. Or maybe they can pull what Sacred Stones did and have the game split into a Seliph route and a Lief route at that midway point and then join back together later on. Either of those ideas would be pretty neat.

I'd play remakes of the Old Fire Emblems. I got into Fire Emblem thanks to Awakening and Fates, they hold a special place in my heart. But remakes would make the older games easier for me to get into. I have been slowly getting into some of the older Fire Emblems, but I don't imagine I'll go back that far. So far I've only done Sacred Stones and Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are by far my favorites.

Path of Radiance was my first FE. Always wanted to play Radiant Dawn but I haven't had a non-portable Nintendo console since the GC.

Finished Konosuba season 1 plus the OVA (Yun Yun goodness). It wasn't bad. Pretty damn funny, but not the second coming like a certain someone (:P) tried to convince me it was.

Go play Blazing Blade (the one just called "Fire Emblem" outside of Japan) on GBA. That's the best one overall IMO, with Path of Radiance a close second.

I can vouch for this one too, it's a DS remake of FE3 (the second game with Marth) and it's great. The first DS remake, Shadow Dragon, isn't worth playing IMO.

Yeah, supports were tough to build in FE7, especially if you were trying for a good ranking in the playthrough. But they were worth the trouble for some of the stat boosts and especially for the conversations. FE7 had the most memorable cast, as well as the most fun, deep, and interesting support conversations At least in FE8 you could raise support levels outside of the story during skirmishes or while training in the Tower of Valni. That game had some great supports too, but not as good as FE7.

The one I had in mind most was Tormod who appears once and is pretty powerful, but then disappears until about the very end and is now wildly underpowered and utterly unusable.

As good as supports were in the GBA games, I agree the stay near each other for a crapload of turns and only being limited to 5 supports per playthrough was a bit bs, especially when the writing in those supports were freaking fantastic

Yeah, that's the one with Lyn, Eliwood and Hector as the main lords. It's also the game with the most meme-friendly character ever in Dorcas, the greatest boss character ever in Batta The Beast, the most adorable cinnamon roll ever in Nino, and the character that's the most susceptible to being RNG screwed ever, Raven.

Eriol AND Li both have an idea, if not fully know what is happening. Li just doesn't say anything, and Eriol actively avoids saying anything.

Meanwhile, the two "handlers" of Akiho are both making something happen to her and are lying to her/manipulating her/mind fucking her.

Sakura now has kinda "lied" about not understanding what the Record card did, because she made it work just fine now.

Sakura's brother has a good idea what is going on, even confronts Yue about it, but doesn't say a fucking word to Sakura.

Finally saw today's darling, that was amazing but kinda late to do that much backstory into the show, not that i didn't guess most of what happened today already like 18 episodes ago but still.

I was thinking the doctor probably was gonna be the sort of the "good mentor" character prevalent in Trigger shows, but then he tortured Zero Two, which was pretty painful to watch. I'm kinda glad they addressed it, but seems like he's one of those mad doctors with semi-good intentions.

At least he's better than the alternative (the Papas). They hint to the fact that they were created by humans rather than being humans themselves. Is it possible it's a Psycho-Pass scenario where humans created an automative system to administer themselves.

I think in terms of writing structure, late exposition to retroactively describe the world is pretty common. I think the doctor went a bit too long under the radar, which definitely hurt the structure a bit. I think this anime in general has a lot of problem with focusing too hard on one subject which makes some other more important subjects feel left out. Like whenever Zero Two isn't on the screen, the anime isn't quite as strong.

Also in the recent ep of Megalobox, they really know how to set up an epic ass fucking fight. Goddamn, like the only thing that is a mystery to this fight is the Shirato brother's actual boxing skills. We know Gearlessness of Joe is his biggest advantage, we know the stakes, we know the emotions and the backstory behind this fight. It's gonna be something bloody and a hell of a match for sure.

And the quality of dat animation hasn't gone down whatsoever.

Yeah like the story they want to tell is interesting they seem to have issues portraying it properly, so some stuff feels fine but some feels forced or out of place.
