Yea if you seriously listen to enough music Spotify or an equivalent is great to have, I have Spotify.

Not to say that should be your ONLY option but it's nice to have in addition.

Call me a schmuk I guess, but i had free satellite radio in my car for a couple years (sirius xm). I was going to cancel it once the free offer ended but they offered me a deal where it came out to about $5 a month for 6 months. Considering how much I used the satellite radio, I decided to go for it. But I wouldn't pay much more than that, and will probably cancel it once promotional period ends. I guess I do technically qualify as paying for music streaming, though it's not even listed among the poll options.

I use Winamp (PC) and BlackPlayer (Android) to listen to MP3s. Where the fuck is that obvious option? This poll implies that the only ways to ever listen to music are radio and streaming. What about vinyl? What about the Sony Discman? This has no respect for the evolution of technology.

I buy MP3 albums from Amazon's $5 sales most of the time. Nice, cheap, legal.

If you complain or cancel and then resubscribe...or threaten to cancel, they usually give you the promotional price. I've known 3 separate people tell me this.

Satellite Radio is pretty good.

After the free trial they gave me that 6 month promo price so I took it. A couple days before that ended I called to cancel so that I wouldnt get autocharged the normal price for the next year and when I tried to cancel they lowered the price 3 times until we were back to the 6 month promo price. You just have to remember to make the call before it renews and say no to the first few attempts they make to keep you. For 5 a month it is pretty good but I can't see paying 15 or 20 a month for the same package.
