While it's undoubtedly Chrono Trigger, there are still plenty of top contenders like Super Mario RPG, Terranigma, Secret of Mana 2, and FFVI.

Why didn't you put Final Fantasy II (i.e., IV) on the list? I suspect more people would vote for it than for Secret of the Stars, at least. I've never played Secret of the Stars, but I thought it was generally considered laughably bad.
