Instant coffee is such shit. I can't stand it. I'd rather take the time for real coffee or go without.

Nothing wrong with it. Obviously you can make better quality stuff with freshly ground beans but honestly sometimes you just want the caffeine and instant can be a way to have a cup quick on the go.

If you ask me a lot of people nowadays try way to hard to be coffee snobs.

I use instant coffee for cooking, crafting, and even drinking. It's great for making iced coffee or mocha.

It's environmentally more friendly than other forms of coffee

And it's so cheap having instant coffee and soy milk for drinks any time

I drink UCC Black Coffee when I'm in a rush.

Most people don't carry a coffee pot around with them to brew it.

Just simply add spoons to you liking and hot water.

I can probably believe this. TBH, I almost never even see anybody buy the pre-ground beans. I'm sure lot of people do. I just know I never see it. And everyone I know that drinks it buys instant. And everyone at my jobs do, too. Obviously, I don't know every coffee drinker. But based on what I've seen throughout my life(especially how the world is these days), it's not that hard to believe...

I used to do this with soda, but now I've transitioned to just drinking water, and only drinking Soda when someone gives it to me. I've never been a huge fan of hot drinks either.

36 cents a cup if my math is right, and i doubt it will ever go bad just sitting if you dont consume very often.

Really, I just like how I can make it in 60 seconds and it tastes good, nothing like folgers instant which is gross. Only downside is it seems to be lacking in the caffeine dept, because regular ground coffee seems to perk me up more.

I meant by my math I would go through it in about 34 days. I could get cheaper pre ground at Walmart for about the same amount of time.

As for trying instant coffee, I have, and that's why I say it's gross. However I admit it's possible that there's some nice brand out there that I could tolerate or even like. I won't go out of my way though, I never need coffee right away and enjoy the brewing ritual. :P

I do grind my own beans every time I have coffee at home. I don't do it every morning or even every month though. I go in and out on drinking coffee.
