I honestly wasn't expecting much from a schlocky action movie starring Japanese pop sensation Gackt and Josh Hartnett, but, apart from the Woody Harrelson/Demi Moore subplot that comes out of nowhere and goes basically nowhere, it's a pretty damn enjoyable movie. It's got great set design, great fight choreography, and Ron Perlman at his Ron Perlmaniest, and really, what more can you ask from a movie? --- The problem with the internet today is that it's filled with entire generations that did not grow up with the great wisdom of the Wyld Stallyns. <cite>dainkinkaide posted [p:900086703] in Name an ob... Newave 04/22/18 6:18:36 AM #26:	I wouldn't call the "Cube" series obscure, it's a b-movie series, sure, but it's arguably one of the more well known ones, and the sequels aren't bad, they don't make for a good coherent series but as standalone movies all three are roughly on par with each other overall. Personally I like "Hypercube" the most because I enjoy the sci-fi aspect of it.
