Idahol Officials have EUTHANIZED a snapping turtle which has been the centre of the investigation over a biology teacher gave a Live SICK PUPPY to eat in front of students!!

Robert Crosland, the teacher at Preston Junior High fed a sick puppy brought by someone who wanted him to feed the sick puppy to his turtle..and so he did in front of 3 students after class ended according to Superintended Marc Gee

The Idaho State Dept of Agriculture says snapping turtles are an invasive speciese and require a permit as they seized the turtle and killed it on Wednesday

Security is now brought in after people have vague threats against the school after learning of this news.

The school superintendent said the administators had been informed of the "regrettable circumstance involving some of the biological specimens"

Robert has not been given the boot for his "strange actions" which students said he's been doing for years as he's fed live animals to his snake or turtle.

The 3 students said that he's also fed guinea pigs to snakes and described it as the "circle of life" and added that humans were at the TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN..they also said that he was a "popular" teacher there

One of them said "He is a cool teacher who really brought science to life..i loved his class because he had turtles and snakes and other cool things. He killed the dog in the most humane way and it was already sick so he ended its suffering so i don't see what the big deal here is"

It's unclear why Crosland wanted to have the puppy die ALIVE but the superintendent said they are now making sure this doesn't happen again

Do you think it's okay to feed a turtle a live puppy because it was "sick" anyway??.

You can be as comfortable as you want, that doesnt mean youre in any way correct. A snapping turtle will kill and eat anything that gets too close. Puppies are known to go swimming. The idea it would never happen is you trying to justify it to yourself. Not reality.

Also your example is a bad analogy. There are lots of people who feed live animals to other animals that are not psychopaths and dont murder people. Youre taking a small percentage and applying it to everyone.

You being uncomfortable with what he did does not make your leaps of logic correct.

You are making some serious leaps in regard to size and common diet.

People feed food animals to other animals. Psychopaths feed cats and dogs to animals. Turning a blind eye to mental illness is not a good idea. All the arguments people are trying to use to justify this guy were used to justify that guy.

Are snapping turtles even supposed to eat dogs? Somehow I doubt that canines are their natural prey. :/

I feel like this is similar to when they send a team out to the forest to kill a bear after a person has been killed by a bear, even though they have no way to prove the bear they killed is the same one that killed a person.

Killing the turtle is a meaningless act just to try and make people feel better even though it didn't do anything wrong.

also they shouldn;t have killed the turtle. it was just fed something. it's the teacher and the student who brought the puppie's fault. those 2 should be in prison. if I was there I would have stolen the puppy out of the teacher's arms and left the classroom. I woudn't even care if I was suspended. take the puppy to the cops and tell them what was happening.
