The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim I don't actually like this very much without mods - the setting is boring and the dungeon design is nonexistent - but mods add a lot to it, especially the Thieves Tool one. Being able to swoop down from Gotahm City rooftops to punch out thugs is the most a video game will ever get towards making the player feel like Batman. Metroid Prime I actually think Prime is starting to show its age, but it's still an extremely well-crafted game and the best transition to 3D that Metroid could have hoped for.
