Board 8 > Ages/Seasons - Which play first?

IMO, I liked the main gimmick of Seasons more than Ages. I also like the linked game of Ages > Seasons
Start with Ages first.

Both are great.

They're very different games. I went with Seasons first and loved it. Played Ages after and hated it. Forced myself to finish then never bothered with the linked game because I was so annoyed by Ages.

I played Seasons first and then Ages and I think it's the better order but there's an excellent chance that that's just my own bias speaking

I also prefer Seasons slightly but it's also the easier of the two games imo

I played ages first and got bored with seasons halfway through, but can't be sure if that's due to ordering or if it would have been the same either way.

Well, the linked game version of Ages has the Donkey Kong minigame and I don't think there's any equivalent for the linked Seasons

Seasons -> Ages and then Ages-> Seasons. Get both versions of the full experience plus start and end with the better one.

I gave up on Ages because I don't have the quick coordination to do the Goron dancing game that's really, really awful.

Each one is incredible and you can't go wrong with either order.

That being said, starting with seasons is what I did so that's what I voted for

I did Ages first since I was told Seasons was the better game. Plus I thought I'd enjoy a Zelda game more focused on combat than on puzzles. Turns out I was wrong. I enjoyed Ages more.

On the other hand Seasons generally has more difficult combat so it depends on which is more attractive for you to start/end with.

But do it both ways really, since the linked bonus dungeon is different for them

I will say I preferred Seasons (the one I like more) last if only because I preferred the items in that game Hell yeah Roc Cape

I personally found Seasons and Ages to be roughly equal as far as combat difficulty goes, but Ages definitely has more challenging puzzles/exploration in general

although I actually prefer Seasons' dungeon designs to be clear, more challenging does not necessary mean better

Seasons' level 8 is excellent, Ages' sucks
