Okay, now I'm actually hyped for the first time in this show.

But seriously, Elias is the second coming of Enzo. It's the segment on loop every week, a few different words sprinkled in to differentiate it from the 7 Elias segments before. It's like Rusev Day. I would love to love Rusev. But Rusev Day is just this paper thin gimmick that doesn't go in any direction. Elias goes in no direction. The character doesn't evolve. There is so true interaction and change between characters. You watch Nitro in its prime, and that's what happens. Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, guys like a Jake Roberts, Eddie Guerrero... the characters had evolution. And other guys at least had matches that popped. Elias has neither; his best story arc was his NXT story on the way out because it showed the character reacting to something.

Elias's best segment to date was the one where like 7 women interrupted him in a row and he just walked off, defeated, while Bayley tried to hug him and he blew her off.

I think that segment was like 4 months ago? They tend to be pretty repetitive for the most part, unfortunately-- I've been skipping them lately.

This is consistent with their characters, though.

Alexa is out to win by any means necessary, and while she talks a big game, doesn't really think she can beat Asuka or Nia in a straight up match so she'd rather take her chances with picking the bones.

Miz is also in general out to win by any means necessary, however he's delusional and actually thinks he's the best while doing so and that his chances of winning go down in a triple threat.
